A great find, only 20minutes to cbd by train, and the north Ryde station is an easy 700metres walk from park. Beautiful shady park, spacious caravan sites, clean amenities. Backs onto the national park, beautiful walks so close....easy access from the M2 motorway. Would recommend this park to anyone wanting to see the best of Sydney. Only drawback, you are...

Everything you can think of is available. Very nice spot away from the hustle of the city but a train station a close walk away to get you anywhere you want. A fair bit of air traffic but you have to expect that in a city. Even the supplies in the store are a decent price.

We needed to book in Sydney close to Olympic Park so my daughter could run in some events at CIS level. This was on the way to the Gold Coast where my son was competing in the national orienteering championships the Friday following. We looked on trusty TripAdvisor and found this park at Lane Cove. It rated pretty well(mostly) and...

Stayed at the Lane Cove River Tourist Park whilst attending the Davis Cup tennis. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us over our 3 day stay, but the park itself does offer some positives. It is conveniently located to major shopping centres, reasonably short drive into the Sydney Olympic precinct, and not far from the Lane Cove restaurant strip. Amenities...

Lane Cove Tourist Park About one dozen of us just had a weekend stay at the park for a school reunion and found that the accommodation and park grounds in good condition, good clean BBQ areas and amenities blocks. Nice walking tracks if you feel a bit adventurous and most of the staff very friendly, if you are unlucky enough...

12 of us took up six family cabins, some two bedrooms and some one bedroom, for the whole week. We use it as our base for our whole week of bushwalking to enjoy the wild flowers along the Great North Walk, 250 km walk that stretch from Sydney to Newcastle. It is a delightful park with lots to offer, be...

When you wake up in the morning to a chorus of Kookaburra calls, it is extremely hard to believe that this campground is a short train journey away from the Sydney CBD. The site is in the National Park so there are a few more rules than other campgrounds, but it is well maintained, managed and has walking tracks into...

Only planned a short time here but stayed longer. Great amenities and the staff could not have been more helpful. Sites were grassy with concrete pads for van annex. Walking distance to public transport. Would come back here if staying in Sydney with our van.

Stayed here for years and am disgusted that our last visit the powered sites have gone up to $42 per night, a 2.5 booking fee is now charged, pay in total up front and no 7th night free. Also NO seniors or pension discount offered. The government sure knows how to rip us off! The amenities are not upgraded and...

This holiday park is the closest to the CBD - just a short walk to the north Ryde train station. This is way cheaper than getting an inner city hotel which charges for parking. The camp kitchen is ok, but a toaster would make it so much better. The camp sites are good.
