What a find this place was. Set out of town in a lovely and quiet location the peace is to be appreciated. My "unit" had a well resourced dining / lounge room, a large, beautifully furnished bedroom and well appointed bathroom. All the nice little touches were there with complimentary continental breakfast, fruit, plunger coffee, a selection of jams and...

We had spent 2 nights in Canberra at a noisy hotel and wanted a good nights sleep on our visit to Tumut. We booked only the night before and did not research well (me thinking the B&B was on the river) So when we arrived the older style portable building was a initially a little disappointing despite such a low...

Went down for the weekend with my sister brother-in-law, husband and puppy; we had a great time! It was our dogs first time away with us that wasn't a friends or family members place and he loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Kookaburra cabin and had everything we could want for a lovely quiet time away in...

My husband and I stopped here for one night while taking a road trip between Melbourne and Sydney. We were here in the off season and I think we may have been the only people staying at that time. The proprietors, Dorothy and Tony (if I remember correctly), were extremely nice. The room was large and very clean. The bed...

I chose Russellee Bed and Breakfast because of the previous excellent reviews. And we were not disappointed. My husband and I spent two nights there (11-12/5), and have just returned home. Dorothy was away celebrating her birthday so Roz and James showed us to our room, the Rosella Room. This was a very big room decorated beautifully in the cottage...

I chose Russellee B&B for their affordable rates. They are located just under 5km from town, so it was peaceful. The unit we were in had an animal theme, and we loved it. The unit was spacious and they provided us with breakfast to cook for ourselves. It was big enough for a family or small group of friends. The...

Originally chosen because it's pet friendly, we eventually decided to do this trip without our dog. Easily found not far out of Tumut, just past the aerodrome. A nice elevated position gives it some air, and the paddocks surrounding suggest masses of space. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to the Rosella room. This is a big room,...
