Only one block away from the beautiful ocean, shops, cafes and bars. The reception we got was helpful and friendly, our room was at the back (no19) which was quiet and had parking. Everything was clean and adequate for what we wanted. The shower must be the best and most powerful one in QLD!! We spent 3 lovely days in... More

This is an old fashioned motel - the room we had was adequate however the double mattress was lumpy and badly needed replacing. Annoyingly there was no blind over the windows over the sink, so the room could NOT be kept dark. On site parking extremely limited.

Stayed 2 nights and was very happy with everything. The room is very basic no frills but more importantly it's 5 mins from the water and heaps of shops and cafes. Clean and safe would definately stay there again

We were in Mooloolaba for a sports/social event and ended up booking this place because friends had already staying there. We expected a typical average type of motel which it was, except for the service. We arrived and the lady whose name I cant recall at reception was ever so lovely and friendly. They changed our room prior to our... More

Perfectly adequate motel close to the main center. Clean except for moldy ceiling above shower and a wee bit dark. Manager nicely let me check in at midday. Neaeby restaurants deliver for a $6 charge but you are close enough to pick up. Good choice if you are on a budget.

Stayed one night, and the smell in the room was terrible. Room was not clean, and very basic. Reception was friendly. I found the Motel too pricy for the interior and location. I would not stay their again.

Motel fitted my requirements to catch up with family visiting from Victoria who were staying in the nearby caravan park. Easy walk from motel to Surf Club, beach, Mooloolaba Holiday Park and Underwater World.

It is a very old style motel with fittings to match. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, TV very small, lighting was dreadful for reading and the noise of traffic woke us around 6.30 am if not earlier. What really irritated me was why they needed to provide such cheap consumerables. The foam style soap wash was rubbish -... More

The motel is very close to the beach and shops and restaurants. It is good to have a pool on site too. The room was clean and tidy. Lighting was only just adequate. Friendly greeting on arrival. Would stay here again.

What can I say about the “Twin Pines” motel? Well, it certainly is not the Ritz, but then it does not pretend to be. It is an older style motel – the sort that my family used to stay at when I was a youngster. It has good sized rooms, is close to shopping and restaurants, and of course it... More
