We recently stayed here for 6 nights on a family holiday. The camp ground during our stay was serene and quiet with plenty of wildlife to view kangaroo's/wallabies/koalas & even an echidna . The camp ground was great for kids - safe for them to ride their Bikes and explore camp grounds independently. Western KI camp ground is located on...

If you want peace and quiet, kangaroos mingling around you as you have an afternoon drink, definitely select this camp. It was brilliant. There were Koalas on the adjacent Koala walk too ! :-) The service was excellent. The hosts are very helpful with lots of good advice. But, the shower block let it down unfortunately. The hot water didn't...

Peaceful scenery koalas kangaroos parrots heaps of wildlife. Owners very helpful and friendly. Amenities spotless and clean. Didn't realise we wouldn't have tv reception ( need satellite ) but ended up being...

It is pretty difficult finding places to have lunch in K Island partly because you have to have pretty good mapwork to locate complexes that also have cafes attached. We had a very nice two course lunch here as part of a two day tour

The managers were outstanding as hosts. As a large group, they extended themselves to provide two evening meals, a first for them and a stepping stone for future requests by other visitors. The dinners were excellent. The facility was clean and tidy and within easy reach of Flinders National Park.

We loved this campsite, right next to Flinders Chase national park. It’s the perfect place for nature lovers. We’ve actually seen more wildlife on our campsite than within the park, because the national park is more dense forest. This campsite has some great scenery for watching koala’s, possums, kangaroos, wallabies, and all kinds of colourful birds. There’s no need to...

This is an ideal location for exploring all that the western end of Kangaroo Island has to offer. We stayed 5 nights in Hall's cabin - it was adequately equipped and in a more secluded part of the site. The site itself is a haven for wildlife: there are koalas, kangaroos, tammar wallabies, echidnas and lots of interesting birds -...

My son and I picked up our camper in Adelaide and made our way to Western KI in a day, with a surf stop at Vivonne Bay. By the time we arrived at Western KI, it was 8pm and reception was closed. However our hosts Mark and Fiona had left us a note so we could settle in. Immediately surrounded...

Friendly hosts Mark and Fiona made our stay a very warm and welcoming experience. We took in all the Island had to offer and visited the wonderful Snellings beach on Fiona's recommendation. The park facilities are very clean and tidy and the natural wildlife is amazing. Those Koalas are so cute. Great camp kitchen to strike up a friendly conversation....

Had everything we needed and close to Flinders Chase national park and west end of island attractions and activities. Well kept grounds and helpful manager. Had a fish cleaning station which was helpful.
