We upgraded to the standard room, because the economy rooms did smell awful and the bathroom looked unclean. The standard room had a good bed, but bathroom was not that great. But recommended if on a budget.

This place is hard to review as the first room (see pic) we were given was just beyond belief. I'm by no means a snob, but the room smelt when you walked in and looked like it hadn't been hoovered for weeks. The shared bathrooms were old and dirty. See the men's bathroom picture. I went down to complain to... More

This is the most cost effective accommodation in Naracoorte and it showed. The room is tiny and whilst it had all of the facilities to have a comfortable night they were all dated (shower was terrible). The staff at the hotel were fantastic and the meal was also very good. I have now tried two of the three motels in... More

We arrived here after finding a 'deal' for $60 upstairs in a budget room. We know what to expect, usually, at pub like accommodation. While the bed was okay, the rest of the facilities were horrible. The walls had been repaired with tissues, someone's left over yogurt and pasta sauce left out on the windowsill (out of date and not... More

We had Dinner in June 2016 at Naracoorte Hotel. The ordering is self service and the food selection very average for Australia. Food is good and there is value for money. We did not try any other places in Naracoorte, so it is difficult to compare, but for a meal to beat the hunger, this place is recomendable.

This was the cheapest of our stays on our Great Ocean Rd trip but also our least favoured. We stayed in the motel behind the pub which was quite dated. Good central location in town but our room was very musty and had a leak in the ceiling near the front of the room so not great for our baby.... More

As soon as we walked into our room we could smell moth balls. We aired the room straight away as we thought maybe the room hadn't been used for some time. We ate dinner here that night which was lovely but the service could surely improve especially towards tourists - I got the impression staff prefer to serve locals. The... More

While the food is good and the front of house service was also good. The accommodation was beyond abysmal. The room smells and the bedding.. well let's just say I left before I caught something! The bathroom is a decaying ruin of leaking taps and showers that I'm pretty sure wouldn't pass a health inspection, let alone a safety audit.... More

We didn't stay but 6 of us went to the pub for Friday night dinner. It was a fantastic feed, reasonably priced and great service. We all had different meals from steak, to fish and schnitzels - no complaints from anyone.
