We stayed here as a couple, and it was great. Close to town, staff were helpful, and our cottage was spacious and comfortable. This would be an ideal place for a family to stay as there are many included facilities for children. These kids facilities...More

You’re better off glamping.
We chose this place based on the reviews and photos. Ended up very disappointed. Our bungalow was “by the bush” rather than “by the bay”.
Very slight view of water and our cabin was up a very steep hill. I had...More
Stayed in 'motel' style room, bit dated and noise from adjoining rooms,
laundry facilities provide and basic common kitchen a bonus
seemed a high room price for what was on offer compared to other motels during our Tasmania trip.
Room comfortable but basic

Hi there is only 1 bathroom, not sure if they have any bungalows with 2? Take a look at their website for the 3-bedroom bungalow. Yes, we drove to Wineglass Bay, less than an hour and didn't join any tour. They do have a cruise which takes you to the bay by boat but quite expensive, I think over AUD200. Please note you have to walk for 1.5 hrs from the car park to the lookout to see the bay. If you want to walk right down to the beach, it takes 4-5 hrs I think, can't remember exactly. There is a sign board at the entrance of the trail telling you the walking distance. Hope this helps.
