We just came over the Great Lakes and we're looking for something to eat. We checked out all the pubs in town and thought we'd give Deloraine Hotel a go. Dining room was well finished, smiling local served us, my chicken snitzel was great, my wife's surf and turf was cooked to perfection, my son said it was the best...

We headed out on a wet day looking for a counter meal. How satisfied were we to discover the food at the DelRock Cafe in the Deloraine Hotel. It was busy and Briony the waitress was efficient and obliging. Our meals were excellent, but the pork belly was the best I have ever had and my husband agreed. His fish...

We stumbled upon this place while passing through. It's clean, friendly and has nice decor and a pleasant balcony, where we enjoyed sharing a pizza in the sun, overlooking the river. The dining room was busy. Well done guys!!

Priced very well, clean and very comfortable. We had a room that had a shared bathroom, which was very modern and very clean. A pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Next time I would book a room with ensuite, as these are available.

Beautiful refurbished rooms, friendly people and a common lounge with toaster, tea and coffee, fridge and instant hot water. I've met a few fascinating people over cuppas here. Oh and brand new shared bathrooms and the best showers I've had in a long time! The train comes through occasionally but it never woke me up. This is the best place...

Thankyou Amydigs for your wonderful review. The guest lounge would be nearly my favourite room in the upgrade that we recently completed. Its homey feel makes it a wonderful meeting place.

Deloraine is a picturesque town and the hotel offers very comfortable rooms at a reasonable rate. Our room had just been renovated and the ensuite was very modern and stylish. We had a delicious meal there too. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was the last day of my stay in Tassie and I had overspent somewhat so was searching for some cheaper accommodation to see me thru my last night. We were passing through Deloraine on our way to the wildlife park. We liked the look of this place and decided to have lunch on the terrace. The service was good as was the value of the food. Steak sandwich, salad and chips and a risotto for $38 which is very reasonable. On the way in I ordered a pint...

Hi Mark. We're very glad you enjoyed your meal at the hotel. Just a quick word on the price of the pint of cider - the cider (James Squire) we have on tap is a pretty expensive barrel, which is reflected in the tap price. I have had a bit of a google, and our tap price is pretty much...
