My husband and I stayed at this B & B for 2 nights in the Chimney Cottage. We found it exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. The room was warmed for us, and we also lit the woodfire which made the cottage cosy. All the fittings were to match the period of the cottage but functional. On arrival we received port and...

Bowerbank Mill locates at the mid way between Launceston and Cradle Mountain, which is very convenient for a stay during long drive. The Meander River nearby is not a famous scenic spot, but is surprisingly stunning. I highly recommend you to visit the River during your stay. I stayed at Meander Cottage, which is an historic place, with romantic English-style...

Stayed at Bowerbank Mill in the Chimney Cottage for 2 nights on 11 and 12 May 2011 during an eclectic trip of Tasmania. Owner Ann meet us at the Mill and showed us around the rooms while giving us a history of the mill and previous owners back to the lady who originally constructed the mill after her husband unfortunately...

We stayed in the self contained Deloraine holiday retreat not in the mill itself. The accommodation overlooked Deloraine with a lovely view of the great western tiers. The house was well presented and looked after. The food provided for breakfast & snacks was delicious.

We arrived for a two night stay and were given a warm welcome by Anne who provided us with cheese, biscuits and chocolates on arrival. Our rooms were of a comfortable size and were spotlessly clean as was the en-suite. When travelling we normally wear thongs in the bathrooms but they were obviously not necessary here. We were particularly taken...

We had a fantastic time staying in Chimney Cottage....VERY VERY friendly hostess showed us the wonderfully romantic and thoroughly historic accommodation and we said YES YES YES we'll stay!!! She also recommended a groovy restaurant in Deloraine where we got a great dinner and upon our return to the B & B, it was a little bit chilly that night...

The Mill was a welcoming and authentic place to stay for a couple of days. Anne was very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The Mill is a fabulous historic building which has been well maintained. The breakfast was lovely, with delicious homemade jams and yogurt, plentiful and demolished by us all. There was thoughtful consideration of the needs...

Had a very comfortable stay in Chimney Cottage. Slept well in the comfy bed and the cottage was clean and cosy. Annie delivered breakfast in the morning along with her delicious homemade jams and yoghurts. Annie was very helpful advising us of places to eat and visit. She even made our reservation for us at the restaurant and through her...

We have stayed in the Chimney cottage previously and as our visit to Deloraine with my mother coincided with her birthday we decided to stay at the mill again as I thought she would love the experience. Anne (who remembered me from our previous visit 18 months previously) suggested that we stay in the Miller Suite (my mother being 82...
