Last minute Saturday night break with my wife in the Anderson Heritage Suite exceeded expectation on every level. Hosts Ian and Madeleine were consummate professionals in hospitality. Really beautiful room, fire on for arrival, large spa bath with excellent spa products to pour into it, (we both really felt better, softer and more relaxed after a dip!) complimentary champagne and...

Thanks indeed Martin for taking the time to express your thoughts on your stay in our Heritage Suite... It is our most sought after room, for all the reasons you mention, and of course it is actually an authentic & genuine historic part of the property dating back to the late 1800's offering complete privacy, in the heritage gardens and...

Many thanks to Madeleine and Ian for making our Easter stay so special, even when we stuffed up the booking they bent over backwards to accommodate us, wish we could have stayed longer. Can't wait to come back.

I have stayed at Glen Isla House a few times now. I love it every time. Best place to stay on the island, hands down. I love the gardens, the beds, the privacy and the owners. They really make the place feel like an extension of their house. The Glen Isla House has so much individualism compared with Other chain...

What beautiful accommodation this is. Glen Isla House is set in a gorgeous, heritage garden with accommodation buildings complementing the original home which was built in the 1870s. Access to the beach is via a back gate. We stayed in the Blue Room which is one of the classic rooms. It was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with blue and white furnishings...

Thanks Sue for your 'magical' review of Glen Isla... When we created Glen Isla House as you see it today, we based our vision on the heritage gardens here, and on the many experiences we enjoyed in Europe, UK, the USA and Asia, where we travelled, lived and worked over the past 40 years or so... The Heritage Suite, is...

Thanks indeed Keith for taking the time with TripAdvisor to submit a review. We certainly appreciate you efforts to do so. What an amazing place this is. Ian and Maddie are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable, everything you need is there. Excellent!, I rarely use superlatives but in case they are well deserved. Accommodation, food and service all fantastic. Our only regret is not staying longer! There's plenty to do on Philip Island, from beaches to nature trails.

Thanks for the 'superlatives' - we certainly appreciate them and your review. (as a senior TripAdvisor Contributor).. Reviews from our international guests mean a lot to us and we value them greatly - as a kind of 'ruler' as to how we measure up against their travel experiences here in Australia and overseas. The most consistent 'complaint' we seem to...

Thanks for taking the time to make a review Robert...
