Spent two nights at this idiosyncratic, interesting and relaxing place. Accommodation is in comfortable Japanese style cabins set amongst eucalyptus trees- we spent one evening on the balcony watching the koala bear in the nearby tree and the kangaroos on the lawn. From the minute of arrival, when welcomed by a Gillian with a glass of chilled wine and some...

We were fortunate to stay for the weekend at Qdos Arts Treehouses. We needed an accessible retreat from Melbourne and what a gem of a place we found. Hidden away in Lorne, Gill and her team create a very special atmosphere set among dense eucalyptus trees. The accomodation is beautifully rustic and the service is so personal - we loved...

Stayed in the uppermost villa and was impressed with the outlook and the decor which is mildly japanese influenced (see the pic for this on TripAdvisor which looks like our room). The grounds are littered with art works which are interesting and the cafe serves reasonable pizza and counter meals. Gillian and Graham, the hosts were delightful and friendly and...

A group of eight of us came here for brunch and everything was delicious. The staff were helpful and sitting outside is so peaceful. We love everything about this place. The coffee is great and everyone enjoyed their meals. A great spot for couples, friends and family of all ages. Can't wait to come back again.

What a wonderful place, stay amongst the trees and listen to all the bird song . Lovely food , lovely people. The cafe has an amazing balcony where you can watch the wildlife enjoying themselves. Onsite Art Gallery and potery centre, walk around the sculpture park and see and listen to the cookabourgh.

We enjoyed our stay at this very pretty place, the staff and welcome re received were wonderful and it was very restful. However I can't give it more than an average rating as it was just so overpriced. A small, simple (admittedly very pretty) room with basic amenities can not command $350 a night. Yes the bush is lovely but...

We came over from WA to stay at Qdos Arts Treehouse's for 4 days. I can honestly say we are loving every minute here. The Japaniese style unit we have is high up on a hill with views overlooking a valey filled with trees. The build quality and feature timber work in the unit is impressive, tatami floor matts give...

We opted to stay at this place but was not sure of the facilities. We were pleasantly surprised as we were given a smiling reception although we were slightly late in Checking In. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated with a balcony to appreciate nature while sipping a cup of coffee. We had one of the best breakfast in whole of...

We stayed here for 5 nts during peak season. Our Japanese treehouse in the bush was a haven from the hustle and bustle of Lorne. The rooms were architecturally designed Japanese elegance. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. The setting is beautiful and the artworks very interesting. The attention to detail is impeccable. Our host Gillian was...

on arrival, we were presented with complimentary drinks, we sat out and watched the blue wrens playing in a bush sculpture bird bath. you feel the calm come. The Whole stay was filled with little simple delights like this. The path to the tree houses has pottery in it from the owners pottery kiln, the tree houses are a Japanese...
