I stayed at the Coal Valley Motor Inn for four nights in mid February 2017 for a nearby engineering conference. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. On arrival they upgraded my room for free as there was a better room available. They pointed out the supermarkets in the area and even offered to drive me there. When I left...

We arrived really late yet still we were welcomed with smiles and understanding. The room was cosy and clean, and had all the necessities a guest needs. The following morning the host, Phil, caught up with us to let us know our car that was parked in front of our room had a flat tyre. He kindly offered to give...

AAA service, can't thank the team enough making sure my 80 year old mum was ok and settled before standard check in time. They allowed her to stay in a room, and gave her a cup of tea and biscuits. This is real service. I've travelled USA, Europe & Asia and found the team here were brilliant!!! Thanks Phil &...

My wife and I stayed for three nights in January 2017 at The Coal Valley Motor Inn located in Princes drive Morwell. It's just a 5 minute walk to Morwell's CBD. The owners Rosemary and Phil and make the time to get to know their guests really do make one feel that they are more than willing to make your...

My husband was booked in for day surgery and we live over 250kms away from the hospital. The owners of this motel offered us a special deal as we were using a local private hospital. We were given an Deluxe Room for the same price as a Standard Room. We were supremely grateful for this as my husband was suffering...

Spent 3 nights at the Coal Valley Motor Inn in Morwell. Hosts Phil & Rosemary go out of their way to provide guests with a great experience. They love what they do & it shows!!! Small things make the difference - pod coffee machines in the room, a phone call before breakfast is delivered, a card with breakfast (delicious) giving...

Stayed here for 12 nights while I explored the surrounding attractions, national parks, gold mine, beach fishing and more. Phil and Rosemary are superb hosts, very obliging, knowledge of the area and helpful hints about what to see and do. The staff are also very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. AAA+++

I booked a day in the function room for some research groups and once again, Rosemary and her team went out of their way to provide a very well organised and impressive venue and catering. I can't begin to describe how warm the service is and when you are there you don't want to leave! The catering is unbelievably 5...
