Another stop-over on ocean road drive, allocated room 6 apparently with sea view, albeit but a glimpse over the roof tops from small balcony. Room 6 okay, nothing special but had nice linen, towels & toiletries etc. Also no doubt like other travellers we did find heaving our large suitcases up the narrow stairs a bit of a chore. We... Very basic accomodation arrived late in the date the restaurant looked inviting ... The tip off should have been the unfriendly interaction and the parked ute piled with cartons that you can't see from the street ....while room was large and clean very basic, rear garden unkept, towels well used, no ambience ...very disappointed considering how much it cost

The word luxury and the actual room are about as far apart as one could get. Not much better than your basic cheap roadhouse. No view. Spartan amenities. Bad heat. Bad lighting. I've had better at a Holiday Inn. Since the site wants more - cinder block construction, indoor-outdoor type carpets. They do give you bathrobes to use....

Been travelling through Australia for 4 weeks from and this is the very worst food experience we had, and the rudest people that we met in Australia. Restaurant was quite busy as it was Good Friday but after being seated we had to ask fora menu, the staff didn't seem to be switched on or care, had to ask for... More

Room o.k. With nice linen, towels & toiletries and a "glimpse of the sea" over roof tops. Like others we did find heaving our large suitcases up the narrow stairs a bore. The menu looked good but when we went down for dinner tables were uncleared and there was general chaos. Think they had been serving outside tour parties. "We have... More

Old facility. Clean but awkward open bathroom so NO privacy. Fairly good view from balcony. No elevator so had to lug heavy bags up narrow staircase. Good location in town. Decent beds. A/C was adequate.

We stopped at Waves for one night on our Ocean Road Tour. When you drive into the car park you think what is this, there is a tipper truck full of rubbish and other discarded item. From the car park you get entry to the hotel up wooden steps to the back of the restaurant, they should sign post guest... More

First off this is in a great location right slap bang in the centre of Port Campbell, which whilst small, is important. There is car parking (but limited). The rooms are OK but nothing special, but for a nights stay they were fine. We had a Spa Bath which was nice and a partial sea view (so read into that... More

The entry to the office was through the restaurant to a disorganized make-shift office in the back. The entry to our rooms was around back, past the 5 large propane tanks and trash cans, discarded piles of pallets & other stuff - more akin to a back alley than a “luxury” hotel. There was not a single mirror or picture... More
