The Baxa cottage worked very well for our purposes. It is a nicely equipped unit with one large room containing the bed area on side and the kitchen area on the other. Filtered rainwater was available for drinking. Lots of wood finish in the interior gave it a pleasant, homey feel. The on-site playground is great, kids seem to love...

My husband and I with our two year old stayed 3 nights in the Baxa cottage. Everything we needed, the playground was great, space to run, safe environment. We loved it! Close to town. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed only one night at these super clean and pleasant cottages. It contains everything you could need to be self-catering, was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The owner was very helpful, and the self check-in very useful. Sleeping with a sound of a rough nearby sea was lovely. Center of town is about a 20 min walk.

Staying for thirty sixth anniversary. Arrived a little bit before book in time. The hosts Rob & Donna are very helpful and friendly. (only spoke with Rob on the phone but even that was pleasant) Baxa, the cottage we are staying in is sweet and very clean as well as very comfortable. Was well above my expectations. It even has...

Primitive accommodation with cesspit and drinking water from rain butt n garden. Don't expect mod cons as not conducive to comfort. We had 4 elderly adults and found ourselves in a cottage with 1 double bed and 2 bunks sharing a bathroom with little privacy. Situated in spacious well tended grounds and ideal for family with young children looking for...

“primitive with cesspit”? An interesting choice of descriptive words for a property with one of the highest rankings and reviews on all platforms across the board. We welcome all reviews and opinions, and rectify whatever and whenever we can to make sure our guests have the most comfortable stay on their holidays. Unfortunately, on this occasion we cannot rectify anything...

We are on vacation from the Uk and pre booked a night at the Belfast Cottages as we travelled the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne. If only we had more time, the accommodation is wonderful. We stayed in the Beverley Cottage which was everything and more than it purported to be. The checkin, albeit, quite different, was slick and very...

We only had one night to enjoy the luxury of our cottage which was disappointing but i had a spa. My mother in law had her own room downstairs and we enjoyed listening to the surf in our room upstairs with our own bathroom. So we were all very happy. Impeccable furnished and we had everything we needed and it...

Called here to see if they could fit us in on a last minute booking and we were so glad they could. Excellent accommodation with everything you could need. You can hear the ocean from the cottage and the area is very peaceful. I would definately return here.

This was a pretty spot, a little disappointed I could hear the ocean but not see it however the cabin was comfortable and had lots of unexpected items available (salt, cling wrap, etc). The bed was comfy, the shower good, the only issue I had was with the oven and it no longer self lighting - not having a gas...

The place is built of separated Irish-looking wooden cabins, in the middle of a big grass lawn. It was all very tranquil and pleasant. The cabin offers espresso machine and a kitchen equipped will all the basic stuff. The place has a free washing machine and a dryer, which was important for us as we had been on the road...
