An unusual, but totally fascinating B&B! When we booked the Drift House we thought it looked like a lovely, old sea farer cottage. Bookings, dinner requests and food hampers were no issue to Colleen and John before we arrived and we found their efficiency and ability to

This is an equisitively designed high quality contemporary property within easy walking distance to town/restaurants, East Beach, Wharf and Griffiths Island. The interior spaces and compact grounds are beautifully maintained. I stayed in one of the newer Suites (#5), which is

Hi Kay, I recall I helped you select your suite over the phone, so I am sorry it did not suit you. I love Suite 5 and think it is absolutely beautiful so I was very surprised by your response. When our architects designed our 2 new suites, our brief was to incorporate the best elements of our existing suites which are most appreciated by guests. Natural light was top of our list, so was privacy, so all windows have screening while our garden establishes itself to make this suite feel private. Our quiet sleepy town comes to life over the summer and you were here during one of the busiest weeks of the year. As we are located in the town centre and in walking distance to everything there is a stream of cars and foot traffic - I guess you cant have everything all of the time! We think the front verandahs make great people watching. Thank you for taking the time to review Drift House. We wish you well.

We had a relaxing four nights over Christmas staying in Suite 4 of Drift house which was very well designed and contemporary. Colleen and John were excellent hosts and I love what they have created in Port Fairy, in a fantastic location near the town centre and the East beach.

Thank you! It is wonderful to be considered 'a good find' and that after 3 nights you were sorry to leave. I am so pleased you enjoyed our location - it is so easy to walk everywhere from Drift House and leave the car parked till it is time to leave.

A great overnight stay. The room (suite 1 on the grounds for at the front) was warm and comfortable on a cool and windy evening. The decor is quirky but interesting and very functional, the seating was comfortable and the bathroom well designed. The bed was really comfortable

Thank you! Drift House and Port Fairy is really wonderful for longer stays. Probably the comment we hear most from guests staying just 1 night is that '1 night is not long enough'.
