Port Fairy has worked very hard to extend its visitor season by running festivals and events throughout the year. Accommodation here atracts a premium as a result. Given that, Clonmara is good value. It is a 10 minute brisk walk or a 15 minute amble from the shops. We stayed in cottage 5, set in a garden and and to...

My husband and I decided to drive the GOR in segments and chose to stay at Port Ferry after a fairly long day (given stops at Cape Otway. Twelve Apostles etc). Our suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. We followed our host's recommendations to drive over to the town's expansive beach and were treated to some beautiful views. We picked...

We spent one night at this quaint spot. Nice, clean, well-provisioned cottage accommodation. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Ideal for couples. Highly recommend. Be sure to try the Merrijig restaurants in Pt. Fairy. We had a wonderful meal there.

We stayed at Clonmara for two nights in Doug's romantic hideaway cottage tucked away in a spot the other side of the Llamas! The cottage is very well appointed almost to full apartment level. The welcome is enhanced by the complimentary chocolates and port. The cottage position assures quiet and tranquility and the comfort of the inside settee and outside...

This was a fabulous stop on our journey across Australia. The charm of the place was amazing and the owner was very helpful in pointing us in places to visit and eat whilst we were there. Whilst we were there in the adjacent field there were Llamas which were very cute.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are all delighted that your stay, be it short, was a great success. It is also useful to know that the information we provide was of goos use. Best Regards Doug PS They were Alpacas, not Llamas and are all pets with names.

I guess that a few years ago this was a good cute kind of place to stay. With the For Sale board outside it kind of suggested the enthusiasm had gone. The garden was overgrown and not looking loved, and whilst the room itself had what you expected, it was a bit dark and cold. A main attraction of staying...

Oh, what a very sad review. Yes, after 17 years and major heart surgery, we are having to retire. It is a poor indictment on us, that we reflected your opinion, as it is not one person only who manages the business. The garden is not overgrown and very much loved, particularly by me. We are however very conscious of...

We stayed here for two nights. Tidy, well presented accommodation. Our cottage had a big bathroom containing a spa bath, as well as a "wet" shower. Friendly staff and an excellent variety of scones and tea to be had from the adjoining Tea Rooms. An easy 1.5 km walk to the centre of town, with the whole route well lit...

Hi Overseas Kiwi, Sorry about the traffic noise. Sometimes it can be a little unpredictable, plus there has been major building works being carried on next door which has not helped. Thank you, for your very kind comments regarding the accommodation and we delighted that you enjoyed the plethora of lovely restaurants available We are really glad that you were...

We stayed two nights here (our second visit) and love the little cottage garden setting. A pleasure to return. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are nice and large with corner spa (bath salts provided) Try the scones in the tea house! You wont be disappointed :)
