I've been here a couple of times. The food is lovely but the staff really need to get better manners!! They are so rude. Very disappointing and you really need to clean the carpet in the bar, it's so sticky and yuk!

Friday night is booze it up all night long. Not a good choice if you want a good night's sleep. Fine if you want to get boozed up and play pokies all night long. Room clean, basic and dark. Mid week might be different.

Our first night in Torquay we chose to eat at the Torquay Hotel. The food was very good, not your average pub meal. The service was timely and staff pleasant. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner at reasonable prices. I would recommend anyone visiting Torquay to try the Torquay Hotel for a meal.

Went to watch a band last night, cooking on 3 burners, they sounded muffled and played for an hour and you charged us to watch this and sit in the stench. For goodness sake, CLEAN YOUR CARPETS OR GET RID OF THEM. Have previously seen Stella sing in a different venue and she was awesome. We all feel very ripped...

Great place for a family meal. Prices were very reasonable and the food is just good pub food - nothing too special but good if you stick to the basics - fish & chips, steak, calamari, etc. Kids playground keeps the little ones occupied.

Thought we would drop into Torquay pub to have a quick bite to eat today. Super surprised how quiet it was as generally always busy. Placed our order and surprised to notice that 20% public holiday penalty tax added to bill. We had the local gummy shark x 2. Fish and chips both tasty but salad, especially tomato, was a...

I have not been to this hotel, but if I'm ever in Torquay it will be my first port of call. Thanks to the miracle of the credit card, they were able to surprise my family with some Chrissy drinks on my behalf, as I couldn't be there in person. Thank you to the staff and management of the Torquay...

We took our mums to Torquay for lunch. As it was fairly quiet, we sat right at the front, with great views of the street. The menu has changed slightly since we were there last. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I are the potato gnocchi which I would definitely order again. My husband had a burger which he loved. Extremely fast...

We stayed here on our way up the great coastal highway and we're very happy that we did. The room was a good size, clean and it even had its own garden. It's walking distance from the town centre and the bars and restaurant, although we didn't use them looked very good. I'd recommend this place to stay as it's...
