Sandy Bay is chalet for family with two bedrooms. Little play area for kids, but s bit dark at night. Only few minutes walk to the beach, nice place for viewing of sunrise and sunset. Close to supermarket.

The self contained two bedroom Chalet at Sandy Bay was a real find. Every amenity you'd want including a wood heater with wood provided. A few minutes walk to the beach. Delightful and great value for the money.

Dear Peter F Thank you for taking the time to review our park. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and the chalets. We think the chalets are particularly great in winter with those fires - nice a cosy especially if you add a bottle of wine! We are very lucky with our location being so close to the...

We arrived just as weather was going cooler but they provide a bin full of logs for the wood burner which heated up the chalet nicely. The only down side to the place was the internet. We paid our $6.00 for 24hrs, but you are only allowed one piece of equipment on-line at a time.

Dear Bill, thank you for having taken the time to review your recent stay with us. We are pleased you rate us so highly. The fireplaces are a great asset to our chalets and make a stay in the cooler months so much more cozy. As for the Internet we are working on changing our Wifi connection but had to...

Our first time here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time whilst staying at Sandy Bay Chalets, the beds were so comfortable that we wanted to sleep in, and had everything you could ask for away from home.....and Manager was extremely helpful when it came to directions and knowledge of what to see around as it was our first time in...

Stayed on a very small sandy camp site. Had to push our camper trailer around to fit it on. Abolition block in middle of chalets so but of a trek with kids. Wouldn't stay here again. No fencing around park so can just walk in off the walking track behind the beach.

Hello Melinda G Thank you for taking the time to review our park. We are disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay and we take on board your comments about the site sizes, location of the ablution block and the bike path. The bike path is usually a bonus for our guests as it allows the kids and adults alike, easy...

We were in our 23' Motorhome on a site that was a little sandy but level and well sited. It was the end of school holidays, so still plenty of kids around. The park offers lots of entertainment for them so apart from the exited tones early in the morning it was relatively quiet. Stilts Tavern is walking distance and...

This was our second visit to Sandy Bay and once again it was a fantastic place to pitch a tent and relax for the weekend. The park has all the basic things you need to be comfortable with a good shower block, a kitchen with hot water and a second BBQ area for busy nights. We found the atmosphere to...

Thank you for your wonderful review and your feedback. During the winter months, our on-site Manager/Handyman Extraordinaire Brett has already planned to give the Ablutions block an update,...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the ladies at the front desk , they were very welcoming and friendly . Our room was very clean as were the amenities and the gardens and children's play areas. Couple of things I would have liked to have seen was somewhere in the bathroom in the chalet to hang a bathrobe and perhaps...

Dear valued guest, thank you for your kind review and your suggestions. Extra hooks in the chalet bathrooms should be an easy thing to implement. I will bring this to the attention of the owners. As for a hose down area we are very limited with our space and just wouldn't be able to allocate an area for that. Thank...
