My wife and I got married on the grounds of clover cottages last year and we decided to go back for our first anniversary. We got the same cottage and had such a relaxing weekend. It was so peaceful and lovely on Paul and Petrina's immaculately kept property.

It was so lovely to see you! Can't believe a year has already passed since your wedding day here in the Mudbrick Barn!

From our first meeting with the owners of Clover Cottage nearly 18 months ago we knew that Clover Cottage was the place for us to get married. Both Paul and Petrina were awesome when it came to creating a reception space suitable for our wedding of +/-100 guests. No idea or request seemed too big or too hard for them....

What a beautiful and happy wedding! Edith the donkey has found a new calling in life and thinks she has the right to be the 'other bridesmaid'! She definitely enjoyed her role! Loved seeing all your guests and family relaxing, fishing and being together leading up to the wedding day. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your...

Had the pleasure of staying 3 nights with the family. With two boys 6 & 9 and the weather a bit average we were worried whether we could keep them entertained. There is lots to do though and got in some canoeing on the Warren river, fishing, feeding the animals. Our 6 year old was just happy playing in the...

We held our annual family weekend at Clover Cottages last weekend and used 3 cottages to house 3 family groups. The facilities on site were fantastic and we made use of the outdoor areas, spa baths and local forrest surroundings and also the trout ponds. Petrina and Paul made several recommendations of local restaurants and sites to visit which were...

So pleased it was able to cater for everyone's interests. It was a pity the Mudbrick Barn wasn't available for you all to have a BIG family dinner, but you appeared organised and comfortable using one of the cottages for the gathering. Thank you for sharing your experience!!

What a wonderful retreat in the tress! We have been going to Clover Cottage almost every year for 10 years. It really is a place to rejuvenate, reconnect with nature and do some Fly Fishing in a pristine environment. Wonderful fully equiped character cottages, log fires, spa baths, freshly made bread & a warm welcome from Paul & Petrina. We...

Great you had a go at a spot of fly fishing!! When you become an enthusiast, you will have to try the trophy lake, which is located off the property and is exclusive only to fly fishermen.

This is a beautiful quiet tucked away place with stunning beauty. Paul and Petrina are lovely people. If secluded is what you are after this is the place for you. For our needs for this stay we were a little too far out of town. The log fire was wonderful. Main drawback for us was there were no washing facilities...

Thank you for sharing your experience. So sorry, I didn't let you know where our guest laundry is. It must have been a bit frustrating trying to find the washing machine!! A dryer and washing machine are located near the office and is all complementary.

We had a wonderful relaxing break here during our travelling holiday. A warm welcome on a cold day - the fire was going, the cottage warm and inviting and the bread almost cooked !! The view from the front verandah was wonderful - the dams were fished, we walked the river - even though it was very wet- and enjoyed...

This is a great place to escape the busy city life. The cottages are well equipped and clean. I was staying over in cottage 4. One drawback was the absence of a closet/wardrobe in the main bedroom. Most people don't like living out of a suitcase or gym bag. There was also a lot of noise of something loose when...

Thank you for your feedback. At this stage we do only have limited storage in the first bedroom, but hopefully it will be resolved soon. After an unfruitful search for the 'right' cupboard, Paul is planning to build the storage in, so it suits the setting. There is plenty of fishing on the property for everyone and we offer the...

Spent a long weekend with two children at Clover Cottage. The cottage was perfect, didn't have to take anything it was all provided. The fishing was great for hubby, he caught 4 trout in the lake - released 2 and relished eating the other 2 for breakfast. But, better than anything, was the perfect scenery, the bush, the birds, canoeing...
