The resort is in a great position at the top of the hill leading into the main drag of Noosa Heads. Great pool area with a large pool and spa. Our room was very clean and the beds comfortable but unfortunately there were some things which let the stay down and for these reasons we would not return to the resort or recommend it to our friends or family. We actually left one day earlier. As frequent travellers, this is the first time we have done this. There are some great places to stay in Noosa Heads which we visit often so will probably stick with where we know we will enjoy the stay. If you want some suggestions, please let me know. We had booked a 1-bedroom suite but found we were in a studio suite. We prefer to have separate areas so if one person wants to sleep in, they are not disturbing the other. I don't believe the resort understood traditional naming conventions of holiday accommodation and they argued the point that what we were in was an 'open 1-bedroom' which is commonly known as a studio. Just something to be aware of. Our room had lights that didn't work, a fan that didn't work, broken slats on the laundry door and a sliding door to the deck which could not be locked easily. I think I only managed it once which is not good for security. If you don't want to pay extra for pool towels I would suggest you bring your own as they charge for pool towels (not deposit which is refunded when you return the towels - but an extra charge). I think the resort has some positives and may be a good option when travelling as a group but unfortunately our experience was not a good one. Noosa Heads has a lot of great accommodation options so I would do your research before making a decision. It was so good to see so many people holidaying in the area and supporting the tourism industry. Hopefully things will continue to look positive going forward.…
We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms but it really is in need of an upgrade, room was dirty and moldy, definitely due a furniture upgrade and new floors. When we checked in after 3:00pm the floors in the room were still wet I assume from mopping but there was also sand all over the floors, we hadn’t been to the beach so it wasn’t from us. We went out around 4:30 to pick up some groceries and when we got back to the room just after 5:00 our room keys were no longer working. I had to call the after hours number because reception was closed for the day and the night manager had to make up new keys for us. It’s close to Noosa junction but a bit further away from Hastings street, an easy walk there but harder on the way back as it’s up hill.
We spent 5 nights at Noosa Blue Resort and we loved our stay. Garden view room was very private and spacious for us as a couple, King bed was very comfortable. Balcony setting had a tropical feel with plantation shutters. Main pool was big and a really great ambience sitting around under their huge umbrellas. Café on site was very handy, coffee was great and happy hour good value for an afternoon drink or 2. Staff at the café were very friendly. OK, its not Hasting St but we were so glad it wasn't. Not much on Hastings St really. Walk down was quick but coming back up the hill on a hot day was harder. We had a car so we ventured out to Noosaville for breakfast because it was quiet with easy parking. Noosa Junction is really close. All the staff we met were great. Highly recommend Noosa Blue Resort …
We didn’t want to leave Noosa so we added 2 nights at the end holiday here at Noosa Blue. Being a yogi I loved the opportunity to wake up go down stairs and enjoy a yoga class. The walk down to Hastings was a good start to the day. Loved the super friendly staff too. Make sure you book the penthouse with the rooftop spa bath! It’s been so romantic! 🌹
$400 a night, ( Room 206 ) it was fantastic 20 years ago but she needs an update. Broken, run down and pretty tired, it just shouldn’t be like that. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. Cafe really lacked variety in its offerings. Coffee was not good at all, terrible in fact - extremely bitter. Staff were great, they couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant.
