I must say that the pictures were somewhat different to the reality. The motel is in a great location, but it is pretty old and pretty tired. The room was reasonably clean, and the bed OK for one night. The bathroom was adequate although there is nowhere in the shower to put anything (ie no niche/ or rack/ or soap dish). The layout was a bit awkward - at the end of the main room was a small room which contained a handbasin, a bench with microwave, a frig and some hanging space. This room had a door, which opened against the hanging area and bench with frig, microwave etc. At the other end of the bench there were some drawers containing a toaster and lots of toast crumbs, and these were blocked by the bin. If you require a hairdryer, I'd suggest taking your own. There was one, but the "safety features" rendered it basically useless. If you do decide to stay here, take care to actually book through the motel - their website is not optimised, and you will probably end up booking through some other site and paying more. Our room was at the back so we did not hear road noise although I suspect it may be quite noise if you get a front room

Motel was easy to find and parking was convenient next to the front door. Accomodation was basic, but worn out. Linens were clean, TV modern, free wifi signal was good, no radio, adequate power points to charge devices for one person. Lamp on desk did not work, ceiling light missing cover exposing naked light bulb. Mattress had started to sink and pillows were fine for this level of motel. Toilet and shower were spacious and smelled clean.

I intended to shower however chose not to. The shower had mildew buildup (black grouting coming up from the corners and edges) that did not meet my expectations of a 3-star hotel. The basin was improperly cleaned with past guest's toothpaste crusted over the tap and the drain containing hair and plastic from past guests.

The motel is unrenovated and furnishings look like they are more than 30 years old.

I arrived late and left early and had minimal interaction with staff. The motel is situated on a main road frequented by trucks. Curtains provide adequate privacy and block light but ear plugs were needed for the road noise.

The motel is well located, well appointed and has potential. If the owners decide to modernise I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here recently. We booked one of the king bed rooms. When we checked in the man at reception was pleasant and helpful, offering us milk and directing us to our rooms. Parking allows for one car per room when the motel is full. Unfortunately that’s about the best part of the experience.

The overall look of the establishment is that it is very run down and dated. The room smelled musky and had a small tv accompanied by a DVD/VHS player. The bed in the room was terrible!! The hardest mattress I have ever slept on, well beyond a firm mattress. The shower head in the bathroom was dripping (from what I assume is the washer that needs replacing) and the shower door did not close. The tiles needed re grouting. Overall, the bathroom was very cramped.

We did not spend enough time in the room to use the wifi so I cannot comment on whether it was good or bad. Basic tea and coffee facilities available. Shortbread biscuits tasted a bit stale.

Overall I thought the price of the room (for what you got) should probably be halved to reflect value for money.

Just YUK, I do not recommend! I stayed here with my 3 kids, the sheets were clean that’s about the only plus. The mould in the bathroom was terrible the walls were fluffy, surely the cleaners could give them a wipe down! Water damage to the dodgy looking ply wood in bathroom. Stains in the carpet everywhere!
We got changed $50 extra for a little bit of washable marker that my daughter accidentally got in the sheets (the money was taken out of our account without a courtesy call, and when we called and asked what it was for they said ink stains.. washable marker isn’t ink!).
There was a broken lamp in the room plugged in (such a huge hazard for kids!). They stated that they provided cutlery, we could only find one teaspoon.
Would not stay here again!

Stayed with two teenage daughters when visiting friends. The motel was convenient to both Wollongong and Dapto. Was easy to find and very close to amenities like supermarket cafes restaurants.

Management was friendly and accommodating and flexible with our needs. It is older style and slightly dated but for two nights was the perfect price. The room was clean and warm and although was compact, there was plenty of room for we needed and we did not feel cramped.

Although situated on a busy road, it didn’t disturb us at all as we couldn’t even hear any road noise at all! Would recommended and would happily stay again.

The motel is comfy, however the carpet tiles are a bit dirty and there are cockroaches and flies in the room. Cleanliness need to be improve for the room, toilet is quite big and bed is comfy. Wifi is weak as I am unable to connect.

Arrived to find the TV still on.The lamp was broken and hidden behind the microwave.
Opened the microwave to see it hadn't been cleaned.
Used bathroom to notice dirt had collected on the walls. Almost smashed into wall in front as toilet is so close.
I looked at the shower to see black mould. Marks of water down front of cabinets
The chairs were marked and torn.
One pillow looked used.
Hairs in the bed.

Closed room and put keys in the return box 9:00pm and drove home. Made for a very long day. And early start the next. It didn't look better in the daylight as I drove past

I do not recommend this site

We stayed on a Saturday night and requested a room away from the Princes Highway. We were given the Deluxe King Suite. The room is big. The large bed was so soft and comfortable. Everything was as described and the suite is neat, clean & tidy. The ensuite is modern and clean and the shower is huge. The Inn is very close to Figtree Grove Shopping Centre and it's only a short drive to Woollongong. The Inn has large trees at the rear, with a creek and an undercover area for a picnic or a lazy afternoon with a cheese platter and a glass of wine. I wish we knew about this place earlier as it's very central to where our daughter is studying at the Uni. Highly recommended!

We stayed here overnight. Paid $100 for room, no breakfast. Reception was ok, but was told if we wanted a meal, we had to get back to the dining room in 10 minutes. The rooms were bad, old, worn, tiny tv, hard bed, noisy, traffic on highway all night. Walls thin, noise from other rooms. Shower awful, a dribble of water, hard to adjust, hot then cold. The Dining room, Manager cooking, had no Chef, a sub standard meal, 28 bucks for a tough bit of grisly steak and a ordinary salad. After a poor dinner, no way was I going to try breakfast.

This place is at best a 2 star rating, Like Fawlty Towers, the managers really have little idea.
No way would I stay there again, be warned.

what you see IS NOT WHAT YOU GET!! The room we had smelt old and it was nothing like what the picture displays. Went to have a shower and there was no hot water. My husband and I ran the hot water for over 3 minute and still no hot water. I called reception and the guy turned up about 5 minutes latter, he came into the room turned the tap and and there was hot water instantly, yet my husband and I had it running for ages and nothing. Went to have a shower in the morning and exactly the same thing. let the water run for over 5 minutes and no hot water. The toilet flush also got stuck and was then on continual flush so we had to turn the water off at the toilet. I was left feeling very suspicious of the hotels intentions after my stay here especially after the creepy guy who came to our room when we had no hot water, but suddenly did after he arrived to turn the tap in the bathroom sink. This is the type of hotel that would have hidden cameras to watch the guests. It also advertises a restaurant. which wasn't even open.
