This is my second stay here. The family that runs this location Is so wonderful To all of their guests. They truly care. It is rustic, but that is exactly what I was looking for. It's very beautiful quiet and relaxing. I want to give a special thank you to the owners and family for the care you give your...

We went to the mountains to relax in the pines and enjoy some quiet time in a rustic cabin. Hmmm. Our cabin was next to a busy kitchen from a popular restaurant, there were two cheap, dirty white plastic chairs and a picnic table out our door. Not a flower, bush or anything nice to look at. The interior had...

Once inside the cabin, not too bad. The two bedroom was spacious and the rock fireplace wonderful. The exterior grounds and exterior of the cabin were shabby. Screen door hanging off the entry. Ratty carpet on steps. Hodge lodge of furniture, but comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in the duplex loft cabin and we just loved it. Apparently the Jones family bought the place a couple of years ago and changed it all around. The front desk was all the Jones kids and they are all really sweet and accommodating. It's really close to lots of restaurants and a grocery store. I...

We are currently renting one of the cabins for the month of April. We love this area and are actively looking to purchase a home in this beautiful, friendly community. The owner’s, Terry and Cat and their sons have been wonderful hosts and so accommodating! Knowing that we are strangers to this area, they invited us into their home for...

Second visit to Moonridge Lodge. Very cozy, home like, charming cabin. We stayed in January for 2 nights w/ family and friends. We had the two cabins that were joined together. There was plenty of room for 10 of us. Large dining room table made a great gathering area to play games at night. Fireplace kept us nice & cozy...

The lodge was clean and comfortable, but outside the cabin, there was trash and cigarette butts laying about. Sort of killed the pristine outdoor aspect to the trip. The price was fair. Check in and out was simple. Lots of notes in the cabins on everything from how to use the fireplace to warnings to leave it as nice as...

Moonride Lodge and cabins offers quiet, peace and a stand alone cabin. Certainly nothing fancy - the towels are almost car rags. You get your own porch - a carport if you rent the cabin with kitchen and bedroom, a picnic table, chairs on the porch. Inside is a bed, couch, frig, microwave. The bathroom is certainly rustic - no...

I used to stay at chain hotels, but now I prefer to stay at places like this - quaint, inexpensive, and charming. The website said that reservations were recommended - so I made one - but it didn't look like it was very full or busy when I got there. The check-in was quick and simple and I stayed in...

I don't see what any bad reviews were about. These cabins were awesome! I took 4 kids and 2 dogs up to play in the snow for New Years and we had a blast. If you are expecting a hotel then ya you may be disapointed. We stayed in a loft cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and clean. The fireplace...
