Our group rented this entire hidden gem for the night and were rewarded with AMAZING views, great food, and friendly staff. The pictures do not do this property justice. The individual cabin rooms were private, each with its own small porch overlooking the amazing sierpe wetlands. The sunset from the dining area is a MUST SEE. Even locals bring their friends and family to see the sunsets. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

We came to this AMAZING place only for 2 night and amidiatly booked another one because its gorgeous! Its the best place so far in our vication. BEAUTIFUL, lots of birds and the family is super nice and helping with anything. Pictures really cant show youvthe beauty. Its very quiet, the perfect place to stay, relax, go for a swim in the pool, go for a walk to the water fall... There is also a restaurant and the food is really good. Im Highly recommend you to come..

Amazing! We sleept here 3 nights. The view is amazing the food also, and the family that run the place are super nice. Luis helped us big time . Highly recommended! They have also nice swimming pool with the view.

Ramon and Maritza and their family and their beautiful property are the definition of Pura Vida! It is the most amazing place with hosts that make you feel like a friend rather than a customer. The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful! Everything that is grown on the property is organic and they are respectful, conscientious stewards of the land. The bungalows, the pool, and the restaurant share the same incredible panoramic view of most of Costa Rica! You can see Caño Island, all of the mountains, and the rivers and ocean for hundreds of miles! If you love horses and have the chance, I would recommend a trail ride and hike to the majestic waterfalls. It was my favorite part of my entire stay in Costa Rica. Enroute to Drake Bay, we were at the Sierpe river ferry inquiring about nearby hotels and were fortunate enough to meet Ramon's daughter, who told us about her family's establishment 5 miles up the road in Miramar. We decided to be spontaneous and check it out -- what a great choice! This stay was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we would have stayed an extra night if our schedule allowed. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with breezes flowing through them, and very affordable. At night you are surrounded by the sounds of nature. The food is terrific and they will work hard to prepare what you prefer. For us, this included tuna we had caught the day prior. Ramon showed us several animals and birds including toucans, hummingbirds and bats, and also let us know the sounds we were hearing, including sloths calling to one another. As others have said, the view is excellent, and we enjoyed hanging out in the infinity pool as the sun set over the Sierpe River, unwinding from a day on the road. It is 2 hours to Drake Bay (4WD needed) from here, down beautiful roads and through forest. Our highest recommendation goes to this establishment as well as Ramon and his family.…

We were a party of 9 and reserved the 4 bungalows. Ramon and his wife welcomed us and as we arrived at around 2pm and haven’t had lunch they prepared us very tasteful casados and pasta for the kids. My brother in law wanted some ceviche and Ramon made everything to please him and we had a fish and shrimp’s ceviche for diner. The best part is that bungalows are spotlessly clean and you sleep in the middle of the nature! There’s is no hot water for the shower but frankly speaking it was not a problem. Our hosts organised our stay following what we wanted to do and our budget so in the morning we took a boat tour to San Josecito and Drake bay at a very competitive price. If we had more time I think that we would have stayed at least 1 additional day just to hang there in the property and eat the delicious meals prepared by Ramon and his wife. I’ll definitely go back there in our next trip to Costa Rica. …

These little eco-cabins are run by an incredibly friendly man named Ramon, and his family. At every turn, he was sure to make us feel like true family, not just tourists passing through. He was always ready to talk with us and provide us with a wealth of information on not just the area, but on Costa Rica culture in general. This is more than just a beautiful stay out in nature, its a submersion in the beautiful Costa Rican culture for a few days. All this is not even to mention the cabins themselves, they were absolutely perfect! They're made of bamboo, and very open, so it feels like you're staying out in nature, but still have the luxury of being indoors with electricity, running water, and protection from bugs. The view from Ramon's is truly something special, even by Costa Rica's standards. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.…
