From the minute we drove up we were greeted by the owner himself and we liked the place right away. We were only supposed to stay 1 night and we liked it so much that we ended up staying 5 nights. The food from breakfast to dinner is all organic and tastes amazing. The rooms are very clean and beautiful, very Central American with a beautiful touch of Germany. The hospitality here is great. If you ask for anything, it’s at your doorstep within minutes. It’s so quite here and peaceful. The birds are spectacular as well. I for the first time in years actually relaxed. The WIFI here is great too. In the words of the owner….Pura Vida

Room Tip: If you rent a car in Costa Rica, AT LEAST GET A SMALL SUV. Some of the roads are really bad....

El entorno. El trato del personal. Piscina. Puedes dejar el coche en el hotel si vas para Drake y Corcovado. Wifi. Todo muy básico, incluido el desayuno. Las habitaciones no tienen ventilador y el aire acondicionado es antiguo. El aparcamiento del coche cobra 4 dólares por día, y por llevarte y recogerte al embarcadero de Sierpe 2 dólares. Dado que está a unos 15 minutos andando de Sierpe, o 5 minutos en coche, posiblemente conseguiría más clientes si ofreciera el aparcamiento gratuito (es una sugerencia). En Sierpe el aparcamiento cuesta 6 dólares al día, y estás al lado del embarcadero.

If you are heading to Sierpe, please, please stay here. Stephany is a fantastic host and a wonderful lady. We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it so much that we messaged by Whatsapp to ask to stay another night after returning from Drake Bay. Everything you could want is here, a comfortable room, a good breakfast and excellent conversation. We were also helped with our onward travel by public bus and taxi. Out of our 2.5 weeks in Costa Rica, this is the best guesthouse we visited by far. We will always think fondly of our stay there.
