Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Was lässig war ist, dass wir eine eigene Hütte hatten. Wir buchten für 1 Nacht, da wir morgen früh eine Tour gebucht haben. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Nicht überragend komfortabel, aber für 50$ pro Nacht kann man auch keinen Luxus erwarten. Tip top.

Le cabine di legno non sono lussuose ma spaziose e pulite. La terrazza con due sedie a dondolo permette di godersi tranquillamente la natura. Buona colazione e proprietario gentilissimo. All' alba si e svegliati dal canto degli uccelli e dai richiami delle scimmie.

Nous avons trouvé ce lodge par hasard en arrivant vers Sierpe. Nous avons sonné et Eduardo le propriétaire, nous a accueilli très chaleureusement (parle très bien anglais). Il dispose de plusieurs bungalows 4-5 personnes (avec ventilateur mais sans climatisation) et deux petites chambres Twin (avec climatisation). L endroit va vous dépayser et vous serez loin de la masse touristique de Manuel Antonio. Pour 25$ par personne vous aurez un bungalow propre et des lits confortables (certes un peu vieux mais cela fait son charme) ainsi qu un excellent petit déjeuner de champion avant qu Eduardo vous dépose a Sierpe pour votre tour dans son authentique VW Combi de 1964. La propriété est très grande, vous pourrez y voir différents types d oiseaux voir même des singes et si vous allez vers le village principale Sierpe, vous verrez peut être des crocodiles ! Eduardo s occupe de vous réserver votre tour dans le parc National du Corcovado (attention le parc a un quotas de visiteurs journalier)…

Uno de los mejores cumpleaños que he pasado en un lugar espectacular en compañía de amigas super especiales a un lugar que me encanta por su naturaleza y poca explotación comercial! Don Eduardo el dueño fue parte de ese gran paseo su amabilidad dulzura y hospitalidad en todo momento en el hotel hicieron que pronto decida volver! El Bocho rojo encantador nos encanto y no dio un tour por sierpe lindisimo! El desayuno delicioso!

In februari hebben we 1 nacht doorgebracht in deze lodges. De ligging is aan een zijweg van de doorgaande weg naar Sierpe. In een ruime en groene omgeving staan een aantal lodges. De tuin loopt door tot aan de rivier. De lodges zijn bijzonder ruim. Qua onderhoud zou de badkamer wat aandacht kunnen gebruiken maar deze was zeker acceptabel. Een ideale locatie om rustig op de veranda te zitten. Ontbijt is goed en met veel fruit. De gastheer Eduardo is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

I loved this place! We had a spacious, screened cabin. It was elegantly simple. The grounds are lovely. The owner is friendly and speaks excellent English. He arranged for us to take a trip on the river the next morning at dawn. Breakfast was waiting when we came back. I think we were the only ones there. The ants did find a lunch bag I left on the floor. OOPS! they really liked the cheese.

Magnifique jardin, des grands aras dans les arbres devant le bungalow (les seuls que nous ayons vraiment bien vus) et beaucoup d'autres oiseaux grâce au arbres et à la proximité de la rivière (derrière le jardin). Bungalow agréable mais un peu vétuste, aura rapidement besoin d'un rafraichissement pour ne pas sombrer. Expérience de snorkeling avec la Perla Del Sur (Sierpe) bien organisée mais le site ne s'y prête pas (eaux beaucoup trop troubles) et on est in fine assez déçus. Expérience de visite de la mangrove plus satisfaisante et riche.

Amazing - but actually I saw more birds here than in Drake!!! the staff and owner are supernice, they even gave us some limes to go from their trees. We stayed only one night coming back from Drake - the grounds are great!!! We got a big room with TV and cable, there was a huge storm so i went to bed at 5:30pm like a baby .. Breakfast was very nice, fruit, rice, beans, coffee.

Wunderschönes Zimmer, toller Garten mit vielen Obstbäumen und Blumen. Sehr ruhig und tolle Dschungelgeräusche zum schlafen. Sehr nette Besitzer und Mitarbeiter. Der Besitzer hat uns sogar mit dem Auto bis nach Uvita gebracht.

Ich hatte bereits vorab mit dem Besitzer Eduardo Kontakt per e-mail und auch einen Bungalow reserviert. Die mails wurden von Eduardo immer super schnell beantwortet und er fügte auch eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung hinzu! Danke nochmals hierfür! Wir wohnten in Bungalow Nr. 1 und haben uns super wohlgefühlt- echt ein Ort der Ruhe, fernab vom Tourismus! Die Bungalows liegen in einem sehr gepflegten Garten am Fluß und sind sehr geräumig. Es gibt eine kleine Terrasse, von der man die Vögel beobachten kann und auch abends bei einem Bierchen herrlich verweilen kann und den Geräuschen des "Dschungels" lauscht. Am Morgen wird ein leckeres Frühstück bereitet, alles sehr persönlich gehalten. Man kann auch auf Wunsch am Abend bei Eduardo essen, es wird italienisch gekocht. Man muß nur vorher Bescheid geben, denn es ist kein Restaurant, sondern ein Familienbetrieb. Eduardo gibt tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und ist unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit! Besonders zu empfehlen ist neben dem Corcovado Nationalpark die frühmorgendliche Mangroventour auf dem Sierpe River! Man wird direkt untem am Steg abgeholt. Wir hatten nur 2 Tage gebucht und wären zu gerne länger geblieben, doch mußten wir unser Auto in San José abgeben...ein echter Geheimtipp und eine liebevoll und persönlich geführte Lodge!!!…
