The location and price are excellent, and we were delighted to get a sea-view room at such a super deal. The room itself was not ultra-modern, but nice and clean and far better than we had imagined for the price, with all the usual facilities, including a good strong shower and a decent wi-fi connection too. It was terrific to...

All I can say is we had fabulous food, considering we had a big party of guests, food was delivered to table in super timing, and delicious on arrival, thank you to management and staff for a great evening x

Dog friendly which is great for us as we like to take her with us. We stayed in the annex and there was plenty of room and it was clean and had everything you need. We even had a sea view. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great as were all the meals we...

We took friends here today for lunch ....not an experience to be repeated. The restaurant manager pointed to our reserved table which was too small to accommodate 4 adults with one chair crushed against the wall. After readjusting the seating ourselves we were able to sit down, the ignorant restaurant manager/waiter descended on us to take our order and then realised...

We were suppose to stay for 2 nights. Unfortunately, the room was appalling. Room 1 is facing the sea which means more money for the room, also a clear view of the walkway for dog owners - not a problem until you read on. The room consisted of a through back to the 70s. Black mound on Windows and shower...

Have visited this for food several times but they really need to up their game with the carvery. The meat dries up quickly under the lights/heat and the roast potatoes are dire. Ours were undercooked hard and greasy. Unless you have extremely long arms you can't reach some of the vegetables. On a positive point it was good to see...

Sadly the hotel room very not very clean, things like the kettle lid etc were all grimy, as was the TV remote, not pleasant to touch It was noisy as people pass through the corridors Views are lovely though. (If you get a room with a sea view) Breakfast seats are allocated by your room number, surely people should be...

Worst food and service I have ever experienced. Admittedly there were several party groups booked in with our group but, if they are taking the bookings surely they should ensure sufficient staff to cope with the numbers. It took three hours to serve a three course meal which was mediocre at best. Most of our group left early and I...

Honestly the worst Christmas do and meal I've ever had. Generic mass produced tasteless food, no atmosphere, over priced drinks and inexperienced bar tenders. Food was spilt down my friend before we had eaten. We decided to make light of it with the waiter he didn't take it lightly and obviously didn't see the funny side stating "it doesn't bloody...

Had our Company Christmas pensioners lunch at the Commodore this week. The hotel had two separate functions for lunch on Dec 10th and was obviously overwhelmed by the numbers. The food was disgusting, it had been left on a hot plate for too long, was dried out and inedible (that poor turkey died in vain). Despite a complaint to someone...
