I have mobility issues and was assigned one of the rooms at the top of the stairs, making it virtually impossible for me to move. After contacting the front desk, they told me that there was a room on the bottom floor but this was not a premium room so I would not be entitled to a refund. On going to the room aircon was not working. Menu charges did not include an additional tax, neither did they include 10% extra service charge. We won't be coming back here. Neither will we be recommending our friends to come.

The location was perfect. But the rooms smelled horrible, the Airconditioner was so old we couldn't control the temperature on it. The toilets and rooms were not maintained well. The house keeping at night was the worst. They have a beautiful sea facing restaurant that is not functional, a pity really. The breakfast was decent for the price paid. The resort had no activities and even their SPA was out of service. A resort that is basically working hard to improve services due to a management change.

Actually it was a bit disappointing. We were expecting a 5 star hotel, but received a very average 3 star experience. It was not very clean, especially bathrooms and pool. Customer services was same. No one was opening the gate for us when we arrived and when we asked for hair drier they gave us a very small and dirty drier that didnt work. Overall, that whole town is not nice, very busy, dirty and without a pathway for people to walk, so we would not recommend to stop there unless you have to.

See Lagoon is located in a very busy location near the beach. Traffic can get so busy that it can be difficult to walk down the road! I stayed one night with a tour group. We were given excellent attention by the restaurant staff (nice omelets at breakfast!) and we enjoyed the swimming pool. Very picturesque by the water.

Look , the staff were very nice and very accommodating, couldn’t do enough for you. Food was very good, and access to Uber, exceptional. There are a few things that are keeping this from being a top ranked resort. The cleaning of rooms only happens when you repeatedly request it. Dishes from room service would remain in the room indefinitely if the occupant does not request them to be removed. Bins are not emptied etc, etc. The resort is getting very tired and will become quite run down if money is not spent on refurbishment soon. The adjacent property is constantly having bonfires, understandably it’s India and a part of life,however we were constantly smoked out. Would I go back.. probably as I said the staff were fantastic and food good. Just needs a few tweaks to get it to the standard that they charge for …

We planned a family vacation (2N & 3D) at Sea Lagoon Resort for my 4 year old son's birthday and loved every minute of our stay. Food was amazing! Great hospitality and service. Friendly staff. This resort is between the backwaters and Cherai beach with private entrance. Must DO's - 1. Take a boat ride to enjoy the serene beauty around the backwaters (cost additional) 2. Spend nice time at the swimming pool with the beautiful view that also helps beat the heat. 3. Watch sunset at the beach and sunrise from the pool. 4. Meet the most friendly staff members Neeraj, Jaganath, Akshay, Paul and others (sorry names unknown :) ) Who turned out to be the great friends of my son :) (Check the pictures)

Best weekend getaway, the property is on an island strip were one side is sea and the backwaters on the other side. Esthetically designed heritage hotel, overlooking to the Cochin backwaters. The rooms are built around the swimming pool, so that every room gets the view. Cosy resto bar next to the pool is the perfect place family time (if you are a group of 8-12 ppl). Nice staff, clean and cosy rooms, good service, I would like to thank Mr. Neeraj who made our family dinner memorable with his smiling face and wholehearted service. Complementary buffet breakfast had a wide spread of south indian delicacy along with egg, bread, cereals, juice and fruits. It is an old property but well maintained. The one negative to mention is that the reception staff were not friendly in welcoming guests but the restaurant and room boys make up for that. I would suggest picking a room in the first floor for privacy and the breathtaking view from the balcony. Do not miss to take a stroll in the morning around the property. We stayed here for a day.Ambience and stay is very good. Coming to food ,it is costly but the taste and quality is bad. Hotel management needs to concentrate on food along with stay to attract tourists Best part is the swimming pool .make sure you have a swimming dress if you are planning to stay here

Undoubtedly one of the best 4 star resorts in Kerala with a backwater and beach frontage. Have stayed at this property many a times and always had a good experience. This time though it was different as service levels and food quality have taken a hit. Spa services were available on call. Hope to see the standard go back to 5 star level on my next visit as I am sure to be back.

We visited the resort with family on Feb 2022, a total of 12 adults and 4 kids were there, first the positives : The resort has a superb view and the property is good They have a good pool also, the kids enjoyed a lot playing there even tho the pool hasn’t maintained in pristine condition Now the negative aspects : The food they served was a bit over priced and the quality was below average The worst part was breakfast, at around 8:30 am itself some items was over and they were not at all interested to fill the items The menu was also pretty normal . The pricing of the rooms were also a bit high since they were not providing the facilities and amenities for such premium tariff.
