A great find and one I would highly recommend. Our lovely blue room was compact but perfectly formed, with patio doors leading to a picturesque garden and views of the horses paddock and hills of Ronda. Very romantic! Located at the base of the old city, just 8 minutes walk from the center of the old town through cobbled streets....

Wonderfull hotel! Like a mini-Alhambra. Friendly staff, very good breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious bread. The garden is a small oasis, and overlooks a meadow and the Siërra. Swimmingpool cools you down in the summer. Its at the bottom of the old bridge. With the city nearby (a bit of a climb, but worthwile!) We had the suite nr....

We were enchanted with this little hotel, right next door from the historic Arab Baths, with an easy stepped ascent to the old town right opposite the main door. Beautiful quaint rooms with simple, rustic decor, flowers and a mini-bottle of cava as a welcome gift. Lush garden with shady hedges and a swimming pool offering a stunning view of...

We stayed here last night and had a lovely time. It feels like you are in the country but just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The pool was a welcome addition, especially after a long, hot walk in the town. Our room was charming, staff very helpful and friendly and the honesty bar was surprisingly...

The Alavera de los Banos is a beautiful boutique hotel, outstandingly managed. Superb interiors in Arabesque style, located adjacent to the historic Arab baths, city walls and gates. Stunning views all round, beautiful gardens and a welcome, small. swimming pool. Breakfasts are outstanding, fresh fruits, home made juices and jams, local cheeses and cold meats. The quality of the management...

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here very much. This is our 3rd stay at Alavera de los Banos and it just gets better. The location is on the edge of the old town but just a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and sights though there are several steps to climb to get to these so you are...

Highly recommend this hotel for a 2 to 3 night stay. It is situated near the old bridge in Ronda, away from the daytime crowds and an idyllic walk into the town at night when they are gone. The standard rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and rain shower. Staff were always at hand and eager to help with...

We enjoyed our week here very much. The location is on the edge of the old town but just a few minutes walk from restaurants and the sights. Admittedly you have to climb several steps to get there but coming back afterwards is easy! If you are staying a few days it worth going for the "suites". We were in...

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere with the extensive gardens, large pool area, and the delicious breakfast outdoors on the patio. We had a little difficulty finding the hotel but it was all worth it once we arrived. We like walking so the hike up the road to the Old Town was not an issue and for us added to...

This hotel is very quiet and comfortable. It has a nice swimming pool with a view on the horses in the valley. The hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of Ronda, it just takes a little climb up a stairs to walk into the city. The people in the hotel are very friendly and can point you to...

“Our room was smallish though very comfortable and the shower was very small and there was no tv - none of these were a problem for us but you just need to be aware of this. You can help yourself to hot, cold and alcoholic drinks from the honesty bar. The whole place has an air of tranquility.”
