As others mentioned, the location and views are the primary attraction of this property. It looks as if it had been a hacienda that was enlarged to become a hotel. The hotel is isolated; nothing is within walking distance. We were quite pleased with our room, but apparently we got the "luck of the draw". We had a corner room... More

This Cortijo has a beautiful setting & breathtaking views but that's all the positive. There is a big difference in rooms although the prices are the same. The rooms in the new building are very nice & cozy but the old rooms are small and dated. You can not book a certain room in advance, it depends on availability. The... More

Nice hotel, especially as a start base for local hiking (but not in summer, far to hot). Location is really special, you've to drive 3 km up a hill in order to get there, but the view is marvellous, also from the pool. We ordered a junior suite, but obtained a standard room (without knowing it). When checking out, I... More

Lovely, quiet country setting. Large clean rooms, balcony overlooking Zahara reservoir makes for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Pool is very nice as well. Dinner was ok but you can get better food for much less money in the towns nearby. If you're staying here, I would highly recommend taking a circular drive to Zahara then Grazalema and then back to... More

The hotel has all the do with the scenic place near the Zahara lake. The views are superb. Our room view was astonishing, the terrace big and with a not forgettable view. The hotel is located in full country site, which means it is really very quite over there and in the middle of these precious mountain site ( Cadiz... More

Our room over-looked a lake and was close to the charming towns Zahara and Grazelema. The room was clean, spatious and very comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We had the grilled fish in the restaurant and it was tasty and reasonably priced. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The Hotel is located in a truly spectacular location. I have written a fair detailed review based on my experience here. Some of it is good ,some not so good We brought some friends to this hotel and they were thrilled with the setting .the hotel has its own little church as well as a bullring, which appeared to be... We stayed in this lovely hotel for just one night, along our cycling route. The setting is quiet, surrounded by farmland and beautiful views. The hotel and grounds are stunning. The swimming pool was beautifu - though a bit too chilly for us at the time. The rooms were spacious with great views, exceptionally clean and tidy. We ate at... More

The location of this hotel is stunning. It is a place to relax and unwind. Other than the occasional goat bell you are surrounded by silence, it's blissful. Make time to visit some of the white villages close by, but be prepared for some challenging roads!

The room was clean and in a very good state, but no hair dryer and no wifi unless we go down near reception (or swimming pool!). The staff was not rude but neither friendly, nor helpful! We ate at the restaurant: be ready for some waiting and meat rather than vegetables! Breakfast buffet rather plain: tasteless cheese and low quality... More
