The massage was very dissapointing itās a light touch Effleurage type massage . You are brought to a room told to lie face down and the therapist arrived , there is no introduction or questions asked about whether the pressure is ok . It felt very functional .
We were shown the exit after , there was no information given about the relaxation room which has teas etc . There was no offer of water until we asked . The restaurant was closed with no available place for food or tea coffee . It was also stated it was not available in the hotel either
It seems the best value way to use the spa is to combine with an overnight hotel stay where you have free access to the pool .
I mention Tamara's professional attention.
3.Breakfast and low level buffet. It is necessary to have lunch in the local restaurants.
4.Good service from the pool and treatment staff.
5. Finally, the sea water heated with the treatments could be valued, if the Management would like to improve the aforementioned aspects. That is why it is titled "A diamond without knowing how to polish it."

On the other hand, we hired a package that included access to the marine circuit, and that was what killed us... small, claustrophobic spa, without ventilation or emergency exits. The temperature of the pools and hot areas is unbearable and those that should be frozen to create contrasts are lukewarm...
There are some white plastic armchairs next to a table with two jugs of water and water with lemonā¦. Cardboard cups, and all the general u. Little carelessness or little attention to detail.
In the end, some of us ended up with problems with voltage drops, which lasted longer than a day...
We will not repeat experiences again.,??

Our stay coincided with youth national squads from other countries who use nearby pitches for their training. The teams were clearly treated as a priority over all other guests. When seeking to use the gym during our stay which was advertised as a key facility, we were told that this was exclusively for the football teamsā use. On challenging this, a young, blonde receptionist said āEso es lo que hayā which translates as āit is what it isā and smiled, patronisingly. Pool areas that were supposedly closed off to guests but, were available exclusively to the children from the US squad to splash and make noise in, with the coach blasting music though a huge speaker egging them on; right next to an outside bar and seating area. You can see why I believe that this hotel has no idea how to treat all guests who were unfortunately visiting at this time.
The pools with sea water were a good experience but their use was restricted. The sauna was unavailable for the entirety of our stay which was disappointing. The massage staff were polite and exemplary and the friendliest of all staff in the hotel. They certainly had golden hands! The massages we booked were of the highest standard and relaxed us fully. This was definitely the best aspect of the hotel during our stay.
In short, do not visit this hotel if you wish to be treated with equality and respect. For a supposedly 4 Star hotel, Thalasia, you certainly fell far short of your rating. Your true rating is the one marked by our review and we definitely regret selecting your hotel for our special occasion, having been made to feel second class and not permitted to use the facilities, as advertised.
We arrived on a Tuesday to a practically deserted hotel, the welcome was very cold from a blonde lady who was almost bothered by our presence.
First bad sign!
Furthermore, the other lady at the pool reception was even worse, never a smile, unprepared and impatient, she made a mistake in booking the massages, we had booked 4 massages at 4pm and when we went she told us that they would only give us 2, We couldn't do the other 2 and they moved them to the next day, we had to change our plans because of this!
The body treatments (massages) are basically done by people who are not really professionals, for example the leg massage was not the same, one was treated in one way and the other in another.
So little attention to what is done....
We were on half board, the breakfasts of our 5-day stay were perfect, while the dinners were very bad:
Little variety, the same ingredient repeated with different sauces on successive days, never well cooked and almost always cold.
We definitely won't be back.
PS: We paid 156 euros per day. Half pension.

It is worth highlighting the cleanliness of the room and facilities, the only bad thing about the summer pool is the hours, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but the area and the pool are great.
The hotel staff is very friendly and pleasant for making your stay wonderful.
The breakfast buffet is wide in variety and good quality.
An ideal place to rest and enjoy your days of rest.

Very clean in all areas with daily housekeeping.
Nice view to the sea but obstructed by the desalination plant across the road from some lower floor rooms so book a 4th floor sea view room.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Breakfast OK but hot items not kept warm enough.
Dinner buffet again not very hot and limited choice, not great value for 29ā¬ a head unless you drink a lot of the included wine.
Not much within easy walking distance, not the hotels fault but just fyi.
On a fairly busy road so there is some traffic noise by the pool but not too bad.
Can be a bit smelly in the outdoor areas which I believe is caused by the desalination plant across the road but again not too bad.
Underground car parking is available for 5ā¬ a day but there is ample free parking just across the road.
Didn't use the spa but beware you have to buy and wear a hotel swimming cap and flip flops.
- We booked a stay for three days, and they activated our card for just one night, which meant there was an impressive queue to be activated again.
- We asked for our bathrobes to be changed for a larger size, and their response was: at the access to the pool, and what is our surprise that when we ask for a size change they ask us for a deposit of 40 euros.
- We had some leaks from the room above, and it was impossible to contact reception because the interior phone did not work and we opted to make an external call (we called up to 8 times), and no one answered.
We decided to go down to reception and there was no one, they were inside, until someone decided to come out.
In the end they called us back, we explained the situation, and the lady told us that what could be done would be done, after insisting she told us āthat the problem was not hers.ā
Finally the maintenance guy arrives and after seeing the situation, he asked to give us another room.
Pool rules for some yes and for others no, allowing access with dirty sneakers.

First of all, say that the dates to go the same were not the most appropriate (2/19 to 2/21).
There were just some friendlies between lower category teams being played and the hotel was āfullā of players.
It turns out that when we arrived they told us that part of the facilities were reserved for them (Gym, common areas, breakfast area, etc.) and others were just under maintenance (sauna and vapotherapy area, etc.). Finally we only had the pool area.
On the first day, at breakfast we shared the ārestaurant areaā with a selection of players and it was full of a variety of food, quality coffee makers, toasters and microwaves.
But the next day, all of us guests who did not belong to any soccer team were relegated to a small area with much less quantity and variety of food, capsule coffee maker, no microwave, etc.
The only employee assigned to that room commented: āthat we had to adapt to the circumstances, that it was difficult for everyone.ā I understand that it is difficult for her, but as a guest I do not have to adapt to anything in a ā4-starā spa hotel.
My conclusion is that if you are going to close a hotel for an event like this, do not continue to maintain your offer for the general public because they will be very unhappy.
On the other hand, some facilities are very outdated (TV more than 10 years old). Reinvent yourself or die.
