We drove for an 1 1/2 hours with my mother, daughter and fiancee to show them the place and have the brunch we saw on webpage that they are doing now. We had been here about 2 years ago and thought it was a lovely setting, but wanted to show them. Not sure what is behind the gates now, but...

Thank you for your feedback, and it is disappointing that your anticipated Sunday Brunch experience coincided with the huge Antique Fair event conducted by Aussie Fairs. We did have lots of advertising on the radio, in the newspapers, on television and on roadside billboards over the past few weeks. Over the weekend, thousands of people visited the Antique Fair as...

My family was invited to attend a birthday party here and we were all impressed with the lovely green tranquil surrounds and main building. We booked a two bedroom with bathroom in Bunya House; this was clean but small and basic. We got to see the superior room accommodation and in hindsight, would have much preferred to book one of...

I stayed at Woodlands for a night for a retreat for work. Restaurant & food was fabulous, as were the surroundings (chapel, beautiful grounds, grotto). However accomodation was disappointing. No hot water until the morning before we left. Very spartan bedroom. Unfortunately the no hot water forces me to give it 3 stars.

The staff members were excellent - very friendly and the service was good. Atmosphere was lovely. Plenty of character. When some of the meals were undercooked, the chef was very apologetic and immediately prepared replacement meals + offered free dessert.

Thank you so much for your review. It was lovely having your family here and we are always happy to admit when things are wrong and correct them. Incidentally we haven't had a fish go out under cooked since and I am sure now the chef is used to the oven we won't.

Beautiful rural location with 360 degree views. I would not recommend this venue to anyone who requires a night's accommodation in a hotel. This is a conference facility that only caters for large groups. If you are not part of a large group then there is no restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Breakfast is a few pastries wrapped in cling...

Good afternoon David, After our lovely conversation it is disappointing to see the review you have left us. I can only assume the review was made prior to you coming to reception for check out. Anyhow, in this instance we were instructed by your booking party you would not require a dinner as you were going to a dinner function...

Had a work event so spent the night. My room was small but had my own bathroom and it was comfortable, clean and warm. The facilities on site were pretty good, the marque was wonderfully presented and there was plenty of room. The staff are fantastic here, all very friendly and have an understanding of customer service, the food that...

Thank you for your review. This is why we advertise ourselves as a corporate, functions or weddings venue. It can be a nice little romantic getaway in our executive accommodation but we don't really have the facilities for children and activities for families. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and have given such compliments to the staff. Thank...

This establishment is well set up for weddings, its romantic setting is a photographer's dream for wedding shots of newlyweds and their guests. Their staff is also very experienced in everything associated with weddings. Everything was perfect during my daughter's wedding, and I mean everything.... the environment, setup, decor, food, down to the weather! Rooms are spartan in Bunyah House,...

Thank you for your review. We really enjoyed having you here and yes we are looking into the wifi issues for Bunya accommodation. We have been told a signal booster may be required and will try that. Thank you again.

Thank you for your review. It doesn't sound like you had the experience you were after and I do apologize to you for this. I am sorry that Nell was not able to show you around the mansion at dinner and that she wasn't back in until 11:30 am the next day, it is something that should have been mentioned...

Stayed here as a couple for a friend's wedding and had to book a "Family Room" so that we didn't have to share the bathroom as seems to be the "norm" in this building. Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay here at Woodlands of Marburg. We appreciate the review and have taken your opinion into consideration. Our rooms are described as budget and are priced as such. We do sympathize with you and would like to suggest that next time a Deluxe suite or our two room suite might be more suitable...
