Canouan is a small and remote island. The airport is at the Southern tip and there is an exclusive and expensive resort in the North, the only thing in between of note is The Tamarind Beach Hotel. The island has some really lovely beaches and beautiful coral reefs, perfect for diving. The interior of the island has nothing much to...

I stayed two nights here on this fairly remote island. It reminded me of the economy version of Peter Island that is in the British Virgin Islands. Everything was pretty much ok. The one thing I was disgusted by was the condition of the towels. Although clean they were clearly aged!!! Please don't get me wrong I am not complaining...

Just came back from 8 days at the Tamarind. The rooms are very nice and give you a good flair of the island. The cleaning team is just great and super honest. I never use my safe and my cash was never touch. The beach bar is nice and simple Peter and Floyd are so nice and always have the...

Lovely hotel, stayed here for a business trip. Right on the beach. Swim before work and another after work before dinner. Lovely people and beautiful location. Prices are very steep though - $30 (USD) for a steak, sides are extra. Beers are kinda pricey also.

Tamarind Beach Hotel is situated right on the waters edge, giving everyone the opportunity to look out at the most fabulous ocean view while walking around the grounds. They also, surprisingly, offer one of the best charcuteries in all of St Vincent and the Grenadines (even better than the mainlands!). The food was quite good and service was friendly and...

Stayed over Christmas-Boxing day, the hotel was full. The service never faltered. The rooms are spacious, nice linens, the rooms were serviced when you wanted them (despite the disruption to their scheduling). The welcome drink was a nice touch (but some rum would have improved the flavour!). If you like to dine later, adjust your schedule though, the kitchens close...

We were blown away by the amazing staff at TBH. We have a three year old little girl who came along for the ride. This loving staff took her in as their own. Every morning we were greeted and she was entertained by all of their stories, hugs and kisses. I can't say enough about cinzie and her staff (Mauricia,...

Let me totally fair from the start. We booked in right as the season started. We were 2 of 4 people who were staying. Tamarind is a luxury hotel and we were on a world tour, so this was an indulgence - instead of being our usual middle of the road hotel. The staff were amazingly attentive. The food was...

Great place to spend a day lazing on the beach of the anchorage, super resturant and bar with a welcoming staff, great food, beer and service, a relaxing break from sailing after three days of rain and wind
