Bosque is a charming property in a perfect setting within the rainforest perched up on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific. I think an excellent rating is deserved when everything about a destination is just that...excellent. First thing I would say is you should know what kind of property/lodge this is - its a rustic environment, set deep within nature. Don't be...

I believe this was our 7th visit to BDC and it holds my fascination still! Every time is a new experience, from a sloth with a baby to a toucan hunting Capuchin Monkey, from a waterfall hike to fishing for Rooster Fish. The staff are like friends you just haven't seen in awhile and whether it's your first visit or...

The lodge is in a great area, near Corcovado. Plenty of opportunities for hiking and other activities. All the huts, all very luxory, have a great view on the ocean and the nature around and lots of privacy. When showering outside the monkeys and birds pass in the trees above your head. In the big well kept garden also lots...

We love going to Bosque, great time for adults and kids alike. All the reviews about Bosque are spot on, it's hard to single out the best thing about this very special place because the staff, the location, the food, the activities, are all top notch. We stayed in Vista Mar and Aracari, both wonderful cabinas. The always friendly and...

I second the review of NHMarksgal in every regard, except that I (the 70 yr. old referenced in her review) walked and hiked plenty, and don't let anyone tell you different. Also, while NHMarksgal mentions the coatis sneaking in at night to steal stuff, she fails to share one of the highlights of our trip. One morning, to my horror,...

Our family stayed at Bosque Del Cabo (Casa Miramar) for one week in December 2016. We had an amazing stay. First I should share that Costa Rica itself is wonderful. It was our first time visiting the country and the people are warm and friendly. Our group was comprised of a 70 year old, two 40 year olds, a 28...

I highly recommend Bosque de Cabo. If you want the real deal in Costa Rica, you can find it here. We took our two teenagers with us, and hiked all day on the fantastic wildlife trails. We saw agutis, coatis, wild pigs, countless birds and both howler and squirrel monkeys. We swam in the cool and refreshing river, and enjoyed...

Last month, our family of four traveled to Costa Rica for the first time for vacation. We stayed at Bosque Del Cabo for 5 nights over Thanksgiving week with a group of friends and had an amazing time. The location is amazing, set in the rainforest looking out over the ocean. We had so much fun while we were there,...

It takes a little effort to get here, but it's absolutely worth it. This lodge is at the very tip of the Osa Peninsula. All the cabinas are at the top of a 500' cliff overlooking the water. Since it's at the tip of the peninsula, some overlook the gulf with a view of the mainland and others look out...

If I could rate Bosque del Cabo higher than 5 stars I would. I have been here for three weeks and have enjoyed every minute. And it seems so have all the other visitors I met, ... the Tech entrepreneur having a much need break with his family, the honey moon couples, old friends reuniting , the hedge-fund manager recently...
