I must have read every review ever written about Bosque del Cabo so I felt like I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Boy was I wrong, Bosque del Cabo exceeded our high expectations! What a magical place, combining creature comforts while maintaining the natural beauty of the rain forest. We had one of our best vacations...

Luxury in the tropical rainforest. Bosque Del Cabo is a must stay for me when visiting Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. Our private cabina overlooking the Pacific Ocean was a home away from home with every comfort included. The owners have created a world class resort while both preserving and protecting the fragile ecosystem of the surrounding rainforest. The lodge is...

There are a lot of superlatives written about this place, and they're all accurate. Within five minutes of arriving at our bungalow (Congo) we were sitting in lounge chairs taking in the amazing ocean view, watching spider monkeys swing from the trees between us and the ocean, sometimes as close as 15 feet away from our deck. Above us were...

Bosque del Cabo ranks with the best vacation lodging we have ever experienced! The resort manages to be both luxurious and in harmony with its spectacular natural surroundings. Wherever we wandered there was the potential to encounter some exotic animal or bird or insect. We especially enjoyed hearing the howler monkeys from our cabin in the evening and just before...

This is not my first time in a rain forest, but it was definitely one of my best and most memorable trips. The setting in a secluded part of the jungle, 45 minutes from Puerto Jimenez (which is already a remote village with only one paved road) by SUV (a must), is gorgeous. The cabins are well separated from each...

This is a full scale eco resort set on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean in large forested area. Although it is not on the beach, it is possible to hike both to the Pacific Ocean and to a bay area. The facility itself has many trails within the confines of the property and an abundance of wild life and...

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend 4 nights over the Christmas holiday at this delightful eco-lodge. Most of the accomodations are individual cabanas perched on a cliff high above the Pacific Ocean where constant breezes keep the rooms cool most of the time, even at night (with no a/c). Our cabana was the deluxe Congo Cabin, which...

This is our second stay at Bosque del Cabo. This time we stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed every minute again: the gorgeous grounds, wonderful hiking/walking trails, guided nature and bird walks, extremely friendly staff, and congenial guests. We stayed in the same deluxe casita with a stunning view of the Pacific, as last time. The pool is small but...

While choosing Costa Rica for the vacation destination we didn't know that our transportation inside of the country would rely not on a car but the internal airlines like Sansa and Nature Air. On our way from the Peninsula de Nicoya to Peninsula de Osa we saved lots of time and nerves by taking a domestic flight from Liberia airport...

We had the pleasure of staying at Bosque del Cabo in late January. Four of us got to experience the tranquility of Casa Blanca. We had beautiful sunsets and Howler serenades each sunrise. Seeing to many things to name, we left a day too early, as the puma was sighted the day after our departure. We will just have to...

Bosque del Cabo is a romantic getaway and a naturalist’s dream, come true. Crowning a point 500 feet above where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean, nestled in the unspoiled jungles of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula is a paradise found. Located in a unique and fortunate position at the very tip of the Osa Peninsula in the southern Pacific region of Costa Rica, this 750+ acre forest reserve features private, spacious bungalows and gorgeous houses perched atop the cliffs of Cabo Matapalo, each with beautiful ocean views, tropical breezes and the rainforest at your doorstep; or choose beautiful and rustic garden view accommodations surrounded by thriving rainforests.
