My one-night stay at Moxy Putrajaya was fabulous! The experience started on a positive note with a complimentary drink during check-in. I also love the whole lobby area! All the decorations and the sitting areas were fantastic. There was a pool table, a few pinball machines, and a pink Beetle car inside the lobby!
Room Quality & Comfort: I had a cozy queen-sized bed that was very comfortable. The room, while small, was pleasantly sufficient, super clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern, minimalist concept that I loved. The toilet and shower were also impressive, with high-quality shampoo and body wash provided. The air conditioning was perfect, and there was no noise disturbance on the 11th floor.
An additional convenience was the ironing room available on each floor, equipped with two ironing stations to share.

Firstly, I would like to express my appreciation for the positive aspects of our experience. The spacious single bed (possibly a super single) in our room was incredibly comfortable, and the modern bathroom design added to the luxurious feel of our stay. While our room was satisfactory, the children's room had a noticeable cigarette smell when we first entered. My children, who are not familiar with such odors due to our country's strict smoking and cigarette sales ban, began to complain about the smell shortly after. We had specifically requested non-smoking rooms through our Agoda booking, so this was quite disappointing. After raising the issue with your management team, we were moved from the fourth floor to the eleventh floor, which was a significant improvement. However, upon returning to the eleventh floor later, we noticed the smell of cigarettes lingering in the corridor, which was frustrating and concerning for our family’s health. I strongly urge the hotel to take stricter action to enforce its no-smoking policies and ensure a smoke-free environment, especially in designated non-smoking areas. The hotel is ideally located right beside ad-joining with the IOI City Mall Putrajaya which can be quite a convenience for guest with family wanting to shopping or having event nearby Putrajaya area.
Parking is provided complimentary for all the guest however you need to ensure you enter two of the barrier for designated parking area for hotel guest to avoid being charged and need to provide your car plate number to the front desk during check in for them to register into the LPR (License Plate Recognition system) with multiple entry without the hassle taking the ticket for validation.
As a Marriott Bonvoy elite guest, I have already pre-checked in via the Mobile App and insert my estimated arrival time as 1:30 PM and surprisingly they have the room ready upon my arrival without hassle and waiting. All guest are to be provided welcome drink immediately upon your arrival at the front desk and elite guest will be getting two complimentary drink voucher to be consume at the lobby or the roof top bar.
The room is pretty small but very functional with hand written welcome note and welcome amenities for the elite guest in the room which is a very nice gesture considering the room rate is not cheap. My room did not inclusive of breakfast however I paid for RM38 nett per pax for the breakfast next day but I feel the breakfast area is not very well maintained especially on the crowd, and there isn't any clean table to begin with cause I think they are lack of staff. Most of the table is not clean after the guest left and I am having hard time finding their staff during breakfast area to clear the table. The food refilling is also very slow where most of the food is empty which this should be something they need to improve on.
The swimming pool and the gym is located at the level 2 where you can enjoy the exercise 24x7 but the swimming pool can be a bit too small for my liking.
My only hope is they would be able to improve the situation at the breakfast time and try to replenish the food consider the crowd is quite huge due to Car expo event nearby at MARDI.

The hotel is just above an oversized mall, which is probably the largest in the country. The hotel is very new, especially the lobby is relatively young and stylishly furnished. The room was small but the facilities were good. It was the receptionist who didn't want to give a room to the high-rises, and for some reason it was fortunate that a Chinese-speaking little girl at the reception was coordinating. I thought the hotel was close to Phuket Square, Pink Mosque, Prime Minister's Office, but it was far away and the hotel was not close to the subway, but it was easy to get in and out by Grab taxi. A very chill and cool hotel to stay amongst the business / government area. Just a stone throw away from ioi Mall Putrajaya (new wing), it's so near to look for food and to go to the mall. Check-in Bar crew made it fun to deal with and they remember me as well from my previous stay. Good memory that made us guests feel appreciated for remembering us. Lobby was fun with pool table, arcade, congkak and also live band. Room wise, size was just nice, and the bed is comfy that it be hard for you to get up and go out. The bathroom has enough space to move around and the shower tap position made it convenient to switch on the water, wait for it to warm up, without worrying of getting wet in advance. Downside of staying here, you need to iron your clothes at the ironing room. A bit of hassle coz you need to do it whenever you are free.
Fully recommended to stay over at Moxy Putrajaya, with great services and crew!!

So so glad to choose Moxy Hotel by the Marriott group for this trip. Super duper conveniently located next to the IOI Putrajaya mall, with a connecting entrance to the mall, always so bustling with guests playing games and dining at the hotel lobby, with their great hospitality and clean room, I knew that I will be coming back again for another visit. The staff help to accommodate to my little requests such as room near to the elevator and ensuring the room is well-lighted prior to my late arrival. Great access to ioi, but some lobby doors are challenging to push open with luggage in hand. Staff service ok but perhaps some still new at their roles. Cozy room but could use more hangers (only had 2, ok for single travellor short stay but couples or longer stays would be tricky). Really liked the overall art style with decor, lights and elevator music. Pool also worth a visit, very instagrammable. For breakfast, pick freshly cooked items to avoid premature toilet visits. Overall, a great deal and will definitely return.
