The rooms are beautiful with a view of the sea. The reception is friendly and correct. Breakfast is very good and tasty. Everything is fresh. It seems exaggerated but everything falls into place at Le Landemer.
Best hotel stay during pur Honeymoon tour! We enjoyed everything. Great place to stay, if you looking for calm and sea and perfect service. The breakfast with view was unique. We‘ll come back for sure!
Location marvellous and fabulous views from dining room. Room spacious and clean - only slight criticism being that the shower could be more powerful. Food delicious and beautifully prepared with a good service. Would definitely go back.
Third Time at this place. Every visit since 2018 was wonderful and such a nice vacation memorie. The view at the water is awesome. The dinner in the restaurant was as good as the years before. It feels like coming home. We will come back to this beautiful place and team.
We stayed just one night @ Le Landemer - definitely too short! The environment is so beautiful, the hotel and its owner are very nice, and the cozy restaurant with its fresh, delicious food and gorgeous views is just splendid. A place to come back to and to stay longer....
An extremely good hotel in an exceptional location only metres from the sea. We had a room in the outhouse with a terrace and sea view. Bedrooms are modern, comfortable, clean and spacious with good bathroom with shower. The restaurant, on the first floor has large windows with a sea view. Food is inventive and modern and reasonably priced although the bar bill was perhaps a little pricey. For those of you who are British, this coast is similar to the better parts of Devon or Cornwall, but this hotel offers far better value for money than any British equivalent.
I spent my late summer break in the sleepy village of Landemer on the Normandy coast and while I was walking my friend’s dog to the beach, I noticed this restaurant at the corner of the road leading to the city of Cherbourg. Nice location with tranquillity and a good view of the sea. I made an enquiry in person and was able to learn about the menu and make a reservation in spite of the language barrier. Although it was displayed on the door “Michelin 2019” I could not find any reference to this restaurant in the “Michelin Guide for France 2019” The waiting staff had a good knowledge of the food they served and were able to explain well to the diners. Menu was rather limited than one would like. One might argue having few things in the menu and preparing with special care is better than having a lot and producing something mediocre. There definitely was a personal touch and originality and showed that the Chef had pride in his creation. I could not find any faults in the meal and in my dining experience this restaurant is on the right track for wining the first Michelin star, although it is not quite there yet…
Our stay at the Le Landemer was the highlight of our trip. The staff were attentive and friendly. We were fortunate enough to have dinner in the on-sight restaurant. I can't say enough about this meal. Every course was served with attention to detail. the plates were works of art and will be a meal I will remember for a long time. I highly recommend Le Landemer.
This is an excellent hotel which is professionnally lead. Everything is great, starting by the reception until departure. The rooms are very nicely and modern furnished, proper and with stunning views. A great place for exploration or just for relaxation.
We booked one of the Longere rooms which all have a small private terrasse and the most lovely view over de sea and bay. Beds are situated opposite the big bay window. Fine linen and up to date bathroom. Shower made some water on the bathroom floor and that was a bit of a bother. But hardly a bother at all. Nice staff, lovely breakfast with a stunning view.
