Thought the service at the Hotel was outstanding, and the food was out of this world. The Staff were friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in. Definitely recommend this place to eat, drink and stay!

The Bothwell is a lovely old building tastefully updated and extended. The room was a good size with good facilities. Spotlessly clean the only criticism was how long the shower has to run before hot water eventually reached it. I'm guessing my room was a long way from the boiler. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall a good stay

Cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it's moulded in the old style that was so prevalent not so long go before the budget plastic hotels proliferated throughout the land, service throughout our stay was very helpful and professional, the rooms were a wee bit dated but very comfortable with a sizeable bath/ shower room, flat screen TV and good beds...

Very pleasant stay, the rooms are spacious and well presented, my room had a whirlpool bath very nice. Clean and comfortable. There was a wedding on the day I was there which could prove a little noisy in some rooms, but it didn't bother me. A little expensive for the area but definitely worth a visit, and if you like...

Not a bad hotel, but you expect more when you step in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely, but the rooms are quite dated. The bathroom door was making a terrible noise while it opened and closed (scraping on the floor), and you can hear and feel every footstep from every room around you. You can hear people talking...

I stayed here whilst on business locally. This hotel was recommended by the company I was visiting. Very pleasant staff. Good size, well apointed room & bathroom. Breakfast was of a good quality, again with polite, helpful staff. Only issue was a bit of noise at night from outside the hotel. Not really the fault of the hotel, the price...

The location is right in the town with plenty of places to eat. On arrival the hotel at night looks very nice from the outside to the reception & dinning rooms etc, it would appear most of any recent money spent has been here, in the reception area. The corridors and room that I had were old, comfortable, nothing great,...

Last month we enjoyed a midweek stay at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel, being the first two nights of a 12 day holiday touring around Scotland. We booked online in advance, taking into account previous Trip Advisor reviews, and were far from disappointed with our choice. The hotel is well situated in a very pleasant and quite affluent area just a...

I stayed here on business, the check in staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar is spacious and had excellent decor. Room was a good size and very clean. Plenty parking and great breakfast. There's an Indian, an Italian and a Chinese all within 10 mins walk along the front street.
