Myself and my husband stayed at the Marks Tey Hotel on Saturday 14th November for a 40th Birthday do. The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The function room downstairs we had was lovely. We upgraded to an executive room which was ok. Had a standard sixze bed and had everything you needed in it. Can be quite...

We stayed here a couple of weekends ago to be close toa party we were attending locally. We were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is wonderful. It doesn't look like much from the outside but when you reach the front and enter it reassures you that you're going to have a nice stay. The bed was comfy and plenty of space...

I stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding which was taking place at the hotel. The wedding was great and I cannot fault the food or the staff for the event but my 3 star rating is in regard to the rooms. I was able to get a disabled room for my elderly relative on check in last...

Very comfortable and clean room, excellent buffet breakfast, very good evening menu, good selection of lite bites at the bar area, indoor pool, good service, ample off road parking to the front and side. Close to A12/A120 for good access to the local area.

Had to find somewhere quickly and this place was on offer at £52 for the night. The place looks great on the outside in the dark. In daylight it looks awful. Peeling and dirty paint work. Unkempt grounds. The room was ok. The furniture and decor was tired and dated and there was a sweet wrapper left on the floor....

My mum and me booked a disable room for two nights. Arrived at 1.50pm to be told our room wasn't ready. Sent to the bar to wait. I returned to reception to see if we could get a complimentary tea and coffee but no we wasn't allowed. We waited an hour for our. Asked where the swimming pool was to...

Let's start with the room, a polite way of putting it would be retro, another way of putting it would be run down with decor from the 1970's. This hotel is in desperate need of a refit because it's seriously needs bringing up to date. On a lighter note the room was clean and the staff were friendly, The drinks...

We booked for one night but was surprised at how shabby the interior of the hotel and rooms were. The hall carpets had holes in and some holes were patched up with gaffer tape. The rooms smelt damp and musty and we had to change rooms because of the smell. The bedding also felt damp. There were noises all night...

This hotel looked lovely on the website and somehow had a good rating so I booked the executive room as we wanted the best type of room. We later found out that there is hardly any difference between a standard and executive room other than a fridge and air con and some bottled water although the site shows a separate...

Very old, shabby and out-dated decor outside of the main reception area. The whole place had a smell of disinfectant. Close to the A12 which was handy but there is constant traffic noise all night. The carpet outside our room was worn so they had used gaffer tape to stop anyone tripping. The Restaurant was satisfactory but not amazing. I sent...
