We were given such a warm welcome by Sharon and our room was just lovely. The setting and overall experience staying here was great. Ashdale House compared to other B & B's was a winner. Would highly recommend it.

I stayed with Sharon and Wilson whilst on a walking holiday around Inishowen. The day I arrived it was pouring out of the heavens and I'd had a particularly difficult walk to get there. I was welcomed so warmly by Sharon and Wilson that the discomfort I was in as I arrived soon melted away with hot tea and scones... More

If visiting Carndonagh, the location can't be beat. It is right down the road from the Diamond ( center of town) and there is easy access to all roads leading out of town in any direction! Sharon & Wilson were very gracious, friendly hosts and breakfast was delish! We enjoyed chatting with them and the other guests at breakfast each... More

I have seen a lot of B&Bs in my time, but this is one of the best out there. Sharon and Wilson treat you more like friends staying at their house rather than customers. The breakfast was lovely, the bed was seriously comfortable and I want to keep their dog! I can't fault anything at all about this place and... More

Jackie and I stayed at Ashdale to visit our Grand Daughters Christening. This has got to be the best B&B we've ever stayed at. Sharron and Wilson are a hard working farming couple yet find all the time you need to make you welcome. The house is spotless, the rooms exceptionally comfortable and breakfast is to get up for. (Pity... More

We had a very nice short stay. Good rooms, excellent breakfast, nice place. The owners were very helpful to indicate good places to sightseeing and eating around. Would like to stay more. Also a good price for the quality of our stay.

This B&B is absolutely gorgeous! Tranquil setting, fabulous spacious rooms that wouldn't look out of place in a five star hotel! The hosts are really warm and welcoming. The best B&B I have ever stayed in, by far.

Beautiful and quiet B&B run by a lovely couple who really care for their guests. We had a large comfortable room, and enjoyed the fact that we weren't expected to get up TOO early for breakfast. Definitely recommend to others.

Man, we have seen quite a view B&Bs during our 14 days trip across Ireland, but this one was something really special...a little bit hidden, just be brave when following the signs...finally, the "mom" opens the door, and offers you a warm welcome, including a coffee...appreciated after 200 kms drive and a very tiring visit at Glenveagh Castle! It was... More
