I stayed here twice just for 2 nights at a time. Used it as a transit before flying out to the smaller islands. The location is quite far out from any action, and the road to reach it is a bit rough. There isnt much to do there but there is a little sandy beach to relax on surrounded by...

Plenty of potential here- lovely beach and impressive blowholes (at the right state of the tide) helpful staff ( many thanks to the great guys who get coconuts down when you want them) and the lovely kitchen staff who asked us what we wanted for dinner on new year's eve and then went to the market to get it. But...

We only visited for lunch one day. The food was good enough, but the accommodation looked terrible. There was no car access to the fales, just a long footpath the people in the farthest hut would have to walk several hundred meters in the weather to reach their room. They also looked very run down.

This resort is one of the most run down and unuseable I've ever seen. Any positive review has to be planted by the resort owner. The only saving grace is a great swimming area for kids on the ocean, as it's protected from the surf. Do not even think of staying here. Has not been updated since 1975. They don't...

We used this resort for a recent tour we started to Tonga and the resort was pretty much perfect. Keep in mind it's not 5 star nor do you pay a 5 star price! We booked 4 * 2 bedroom villas which is 2 rooms separated by a bathroom. You have a little outdoor area with table and chairs and...

At the end of dirt roads on Tongatapu's lost coast, this 'resort' is ramshackle at best. A long-forgotten recreation room offered an out-of-date and water-stained copy of the New Zealand tax code as one of its few attempts at 'holiday reading'. The kitchen seemed to be a small, concrete room more like a laundry tub than a kitchen. Tires splattered...

Went looking for a swimming beach (as advertised on the very optimistic Tongan tourist maps). Couldn't swim here (reef is too close to the shore, and waves too high) but lunch was awesome. We ordered coconut juice, and watched the receptionist go out to the tree with a long pole with a VERY sharp knife on the end, cut us...

Had no choice but to book here as it was a last minute booking due to a screw up on flights from another Tongan island and it was all that was available! On the plus side - The staff were really nice, the food was quite good maybe a bit pricey for what it was, the fale was equipped with...

We stayed here for 2 nights. View is awesome! Beach and lagoon as well. Food is not only simple but also bad in terms of taste and quality. And it is overprized. The beds are like from last century since the metal springs seem to drill through your springs. The staff is mostly unfriendly.

Stayed at this resort now at least 6 times. I've read a lot of the reviews on here and I noticed that people have stated it's cheap and you only get what you pay for. Keleti is luxurious in its own way and you cannot appreciate that until you have stayed there. You have full ocean views from your room...with...

“Buy some breakfast items and just have your own breakfast at your Fale. If you need a tea pot just ask the kitchen staff and they will give you one for your room. Then if you are in Town have a large lunch so you only need a sandwich or noodles for dinner which helps you save dollars. We purchased a large bunch of banannas and paw paws and kept them on our table for when we were hungry. FRESH bannanas on toast with a cup of tea for breakfast was really yummy.”
