We were very happy with the resort! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our condo was very clean and the daily maid service was excellent. The food at the restaurant was very good! The snorkeling is amazing!
My family came to secret harbor for diving and it was a great choice! We dove by little st. James, the pinnacles, and calf and cow rocks. Calf and cow rocks were my two favorite dives. We saw turtles, eels, rays (many different kinds!), puffer...More
5-day stay after a 25yr.+ absence from St. Thomas. Kerry (my wife) once again chose a superior place. Much better experience/value than Sapphire Beach Resort last visit. Special accolades to servers and/or bartenders/servers Marie, Stefanie, Shannon and Nate for excellent attention, service and attitude every...More
Our room was beautiful! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful! They leave you alone but are there if needed. Beach just steps away from room, the chairs and umbrellas were a plus as hubby is not a sun person! No need to buy fancy snorkel...More
We needed to have a quiet and restful get away and Secret Harbour Beach Resort provided the environment we desired. As many have mentioned, the units can be dated, but our unit had an updated bathroom shower that was super nice! The ability to sleep,...More

Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
There are lots of restaurants close but I would recommend taxis or renting a car. The roads are steep and narrow and I would not have been comfortable walking far especially after dark. We rented a car and it was great!
