This was our second vacation in Secret Harbour. We had the opportunity to go night snorkeling with Tiffany as our guide from the Aqua Action dive shop. We were night snorkeling on Halloween night. The fish were so plentyful and colorful. I actually got to...More
Secret Harbour is a great place to stay in St. Thomas. All are condos with great views and a wonderful beach. The bar is redone nicely and modern with a great restaurant and food. Also don't forget to try the Jester daysail located at the...More
My husband and I stayed at Secret Harbor in March 2012. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a beachfront unit, so glad we were. We would likely not have enjoyed our stay as much had we been away from the beach. The staff was nice....More

Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
There are lots of restaurants close but I would recommend taxis or renting a car. The roads are steep and narrow and I would not have been comfortable walking far especially after dark. We rented a car and it was great!
