It is very hard to spot this hotel while you're walking, as the entrance is narrow; but once you walk into the hotel the ambiance is is great, and the interiors are done neatly with posh decor. The extremely friendly staff make you want to come to this hotel again, and the experience of check-in was very pleasant. You'd even...

We stayed for four days as a family of three. From the outside, it does not look like much, but it is located centrally, right next to the metro, and very close to the old town. Our room was the only one at the top floor that was really, Hollywood-movies big, but not very spacious because of the low roof....

Dear Icagrci, I would like to thank you for your comment, your opinion is very important to us! Regarding the problem with the elektricity I would like to apologize, there was some broken cable, but we fixed that already. Our staff offered you a table in our new renovated breakfast room with a day light, which was much more comfortable...

This hotel might not look much from the outside but once you walk inside, wow! Lovely hotel, super friendly and helpful staff and very good air conditioning. A 15 min walk to the city centre and the car park is a street away. Secure guarded and as it rained overnight one of the attendants took the trouble to cover our...

This hotel is lovely. It's clean, out of the way but super centrally located. The rooms are spacious, with good air conditioning (not a given in Prague apparently), great bathroom. The only problem I had with it is that there is no coffee maker or iron in the room. Otherwise, it's lovely. The staff at the front desk are SOOOO...

Stay here for 4D 3N love the deco & ultra comfy bed, aircon a tad too warm for summer weather did ask the staff to lower the temperature, lovely deco around the hotel a boutique feeling & dated. Good price with breakfast spread which was decent enough. Staff were all friendly & location central too. Overall very happy with my...

difficult this one.booked through booking.com who i am getting increasingly frustrated with.this place is advertised as a 4 star hotel tho i/d have thought a half decent 3.The area outside is covered in graffiti, not the hotels fault i grant you. The hotel has large rooms, most of them have baths as well as showers and all the rooms have a safe which is free of charge to use, a very important feature in Prague where petty crime can be a problem. The reception staff are helpful and there is generally a porter on duty to help with your luggage. Breakfast...

This hotel has the appearance of a 4 star hotel and has the potential to be one. However, it is not yet at that level, primarily because of lapses in housekeeping and maintenance. The property is located about 15 minutes walk from Prague's main attractions. This is a plus, as the center of Prague is very noisy and crowded. The...

Stayed for 5 days for work but had a lot of free time. Room was nice, bed aren't so comfy and there are only twin bed no double. Breakfast is good. The location is excellent, 10 min walk from old city and the shopping centers. Totally I had a good stay.

I had the feeling there was a change of ownership recently. It seems like they've made changes, but not everything is as it should be. For example, no tissue in the room (that into which you blow you nose). The bathtub is tricky to get in and out of for anyone middle-aged or later. The breakfast had a lot to...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
