Stayed 3 times out of 4 visits to Prague. Has a bar underneath the hostel which is as cheap as anywhere in Central Prague. Location makes this the beat places hostel in Prague. Cheap and the rooms are just basic dorms that would have been cleaned had the group of drunken messes I travelled with not been such a mess.... More

This hostel is ideally located; barely a minute's walk to Prague's tourist centre, the Old Town Square. Surrounded by bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés, you'll not be in want of night time entertainment! However, this comes at a cost. The rooms are very cramped and rather hot. At night there can be a lot of noise if you overlook the... More

It is the best hostel I've been to so far. Super central location. Clean, cozy rooms, but quite noisy at night if you re staying at one overlooking the street - the hostel offers free earplugs for you to get a good night s sleep though. Dormer have their own shower which is very convenient. Kitchen is medium sized but extremely... More

The hostel is located in the city center of Prague, all the sights are within walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but very clean and functional. Is definitely one of the best hostels I've ever seen! It is also normal that it at night can be a bit noisy but it is a city... More

The majority staff could not have been ruder, the rooms were cramped and the free breakfast was horrible. Extremely hot and noisy at night. What was the most annoying part of my 3 night stay was that a member of staff let himself into our room at 8am and demanded we left as we were supposedly checking out that day,... More

I stayed here during August so it was high season but this hostel never felt overwhelmingly crowded. On the walls of the inside of the building (and in some rooms) they have stories and legends from Pragues past which are quite enjoyable to read. The room I stayed in was a private and very roomy. I loved the atmosphere in... More

Staying here for two nights, first night just gone. First impression was of a very pleasant and helpful latino chap on reception. Dorm rooms are small and basic but that is normal. Lockers for valuables are provided in the rooms which is good. Bit of noise in the early hours but not end of the world with an ipod. Just... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
