We had a 3 bedroom family room, it was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was all good plenty to eat. We will definitely book this hotel again, staff also very friendly and helpful!! This hotel is close to all amenities in the old town of Prague, plenty of lovely restaurants close by.

Stayed at the Hotel Rubicon over New Years. Yes I know it's a budget hotel and I have considered that when writing this review. However, I do write this having spent more than the average for this hotel given the heightened prices at this time of year. The hotel has both positives and negatives that I feel people should be...

The hotel was terrible. Our entire room on a "non-smoking" floor smelt like cigarette smoke and we could not sleep. We both woke up with a cough, sore chests and throats, and sand paper eyes. When we informed the front desk they did not rectify anything or offer us a new room. Horrible experience and would not recommend to any...

The price indicated it was a budget hotel but it was much better then that. Very close to the square and a lot of restaurants, pubs and explorations. I would definitely book it again next time I will go to Prague!

We had a great stay here with our daughter. The location is fantastic - you are right in the middle of town with a very short walk to all the sights. Prague is fantastic to visit and there is a lot to see. We were there for 4-5 days and had a great time. We just had breakfast at the...

We went for another trip to our favorite close and accessible city, Prague, me and a few friends, and we wanted a place right in the city center, where the best bars are, but something affordable at the same time. This place is located just a few minutes from the Old town square, and the Dlouha street, which is a...

Location of the hotel is brilliant but unfortunately beds were a let down. Sleep was very uncomfortable as beds were very hard, old fashioned and short. Room was spacious with extra large windows and nice view. Breakfast average. Staff very friendly and polite.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and price-wise it's great too. Everything is in walking distance. Breakfast is a bit better than average i think, with a wide variety of options for warm and cold food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. But, and this is a huge thing - there is absolutely no sound proofing inside the hotel....

The room we had was pretty basic, but so cheap! There was a bed, TV, bedside tables, lamps, a table, chair, wardrobe, a safe (which we couldn't work out how to use), toilet, shower, towels and soap etc The room was surprisingly big and had a big (shared) balcony out of the window (not sure if you're meant to use...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
