Our hotel room had thin walls so we could hear the people in the adjoining room into late night. The bed was comfortable but quite low. Breakfast was good with a wide selection to choose from. The room was quite warm but we were able to obtain a fan from reception. Drinks were a little more expensive here but to...

Fantastic hotel in a stunning location. Exceptional clean and very comfortable. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. So pleased we stayed in this area and not in the town. Very easy to get down to the old town via the number 22 tram which is only a few minutes walk away. Recommend this hotel

A nice hotel with friendly staff. The aircon was quite weak in the room (it was 30 degrees during the day). The breakfast offering was good. It is quite a walk (20 minutes down, a lot longer back up) down to the Charles Bridge (not 10 minutes as we were advised). The hill is steep and long...

The room was spacious and clean. Very nice beds and beddings and I simply felt very good sleeping in my room. I do recommend the rooms of the hotel. But the service was quite bad. It took e.g. forever for the bar tenders to serve one bear, I was charged for stuff I did not buy and the hotel staff...

We have just returned from our third stay at the Lindner Hotel. We like everything about it. The location is superb and the staff are the most helpful and pleasant to be found anywhere. A special thanks must go to Katarina (Katka) and it was nice to see that Daniel is still there. We love Prague and would not dream...

Stayed for 4 nights in a First Class room, which was comfortable, with nice quality dark wood furniture, a large bed and good WifFi. We booked room only and did not use the restaurant. The hotel throughout is furnished to a good standard although the lifts and corridors in places look ready for upgrading. The bathroom was very presentable, if...

Just arrived back from 6 night stay at the Hotel Prague Castle. This is situated a little out of the main city - which makes the hotel and surrounding area a nice quiet location to relax. It is a 20 minute walk down to Charles Bridge - steep hill, take good walking shoes. The hotel rooms were lovely, comfy beds...

Just back from another great stay at the Lindner Prague castle hotel, even though the hotel is away from the lesser town and old town. They are easily reached by either a short tram ride (22 and 23) or a 10 minute walk down hill. But great for the Castle area, Petrin park, Petrin tower and strahov monastery, the hotel...

Nice hotel a little away from the city centre but easy tram access. We found the tram stop from other reviews on here so big thanks! Comfy beds, quiet location and nice breakfasts to strait your day. The only complaint I would have is on our first day Food was a little cold. Monastery is just next door which has...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
