Great birthday treat. The hotel is small, smart, cosy, clean and luxurious, with every electronic gismo imaginable. At the same time it is just five minutes' walk from the main square, so you have the best of modern and ancient at your fingertips. The bar and restaurant are good and serving staff friendly, so you can fuel up before setting...

We arrived at midnight fdue to a delayed flight and the porter as waiting to take our luggage up while we checked in smoothly. The hotel is not big and the breakfast area roomy and not crowded. The windows of the breakfast area face onto a thin Prague street where one can watch the pedestrian traffic. Walking out the hotel...

This is a theme hotel with some luxury. The rooms are quite special and no expense has been spared. Very comfy beds, automatic everything, even a shower toilet!! Yes, don't play with the handheld control before reading the instructions----like I did. The location is perfect, easy walk to most attractions. This is a boutique hotel 38 rooms and in the...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your lovely review and I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your time here in Prague. It is sad to learn that you proved the terrible reputation of the local taxi drivers once again. We do recommend to avoid this experience by using our hotel limousine service which is reasonably priced and...

I visit Prague, on business, a few times every year - and usually include the week-end. This was the first time I decided to try the Buddha Bar Hotel - and I am so pleased by my decision! The location is particularly central and facilitates all weekend promenades. The staff is efficient, friendly, always smiling and helpfull. The room was...

As awesome as the pictures are. The room is gorgeous, spacious, clean. Very nice interiors. Bathroom is gorgeous too. Big nice bath tub and rain shower. Location? Perfect!! Their restaurant is also pretty awesome. Only con: the TV didn't have much options to watch. In fact they barely had anything in English except news channels. Definitely recommended

Beautiful decor, ambiance is perfect , a really beautiful place to go have a few drinks as a couple or with friends. Staff is super friendly and service is impeccable. Not expensive overall for what you get. Great alcohol list with international stuff and some local liquor as well. Definitely a must go.

I've travelled to Prague many many times and have stayed in a number of different hotels but I really want to say that the Buddha-Bar Hotel was really special. We loved the room so much - besides being so different it was very clean with great facilities. The staff were friendly and efficient and made our stay comfortable. We will...

Buddha Bar Hotel is a 5 star Hotel chain so I was expecting a better quality of services, especially regarding my visit in the other buddha bar hotel I've already been. The shuttle was late at the airport. Music didn't work which is a big part of the "buddha bar atmosphere" when we arrived. One day the room wasn't fully...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your reply and I am very sorry to hear about your disappointment. I personally investigated the issues and I can conclude the following: - Regarding the limo it was a straight forward miscommunication. According to the GPS in the car, the driver was at the airport on time, however, your pick-up was thus...

We stayed here on our wedding night, after a very long day. All the details were perfect, from the bed to the tiled bathtub to the late breakfast we had down in the hotel's restaurant. It's in a great location, too, a few mere blocks from Wenceslas Square, but just far enough away from the crowds and noise.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
