Detailed Reviews
We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel. The whole staff was very kind and available for any request 24/7. Our room was gorgeous, extremely spacious and cozy, with two walls covered in large windows that faced the Moldava River and the streets of Prague. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very comfortable since I prefer long hot baths and my boyfriend takes quick showers. Moreover we had three different Dove hand-body wash/shampoo dispensers that were free to use.
The cleaning service works everyday, but I noticed a few problems, like some dirt on the carpet in a corner behind the entrance door and two or three rose petals under our bed on our very first day (maybe because it was February 15th and we checked-in earlier than we were supposed to, so the cleaning lady didn't have enough time to and they also offer laundry service.
There's a restaurant on the ground floor where we had breakfast everyday, and it serves a vast range of dishes and beverages (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, cheese, potato pancakes, butter, bread, pastries, jams, cereal, milk, smoothies, all kinds of coffee and tea and so much more). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, but the prices are a lot higher than in a local restaurant in the city, so we didn't try it.
The hotel is 4 minutes away from two different tram stops (Vytón [where there's also a ticket machine with a card reader in case you don't have any change] and Albertov) and just 300mt away from a tiny supermarket named Tesco for any groceries necessity.

I highly recommend the Park Inn Hotel to anyone visiting Prague.
It takes 30 minutes to walk to the Charles Bridge, along the river and there is so much to see along the way. Alternatively, the tram station is less than 5 minutes walk away.
On early arrival, we were lucky enough to be allocated a room when we requested this at the desk, which was much appreciated. Meanwhile, we ate in the bar, which was delicious as was the evening meal we had.
On entering the room, first impression was that it was small, but there was ample room and all the facilities we needed. Large bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, good wifi, ample storage space, hairdryer and mini bar. The bathroom had a good shower with shampoo and hand wash provided.
The staff at the hotel were professional, helpful, well mannered and spoke great english. The desk staff were friendly and knowledgable and were able to give advice on trams, also selling the tickets from the desk. The bar and restaurant staff were courteous, friendly and made us feel welcome and 'special'.
The breakfast was fantastic. There was such a selection and the breakfast area was never too packed, the staff working diligently to keep everything stocked and cleared.
The taxi from the hotel to the airport was 75 czech dollars and the hotel organised this for us also.
Nearby the hotel there are a few restaurants, a pizzeria is a small walk away and a small tesco is just around the corner. All in all, great hotel.

We spent a couple of nights at the Park Inn Hotel in Prague, as part of our tour package. Overall, Prague is a beautiful, ancient city to visit. Park Inn Hotel is a very good location to get around the city. It is about 2 blocks from public transportation (city train or tram) that will transport you to the St. George Bridge and near the Astrological Clock. An all-day pass can be purchased at the front desk for the tram/train. It is also about 1 block from a grocery store for convenience. Or, if you are visiting during warmer weather, it is about a 30 minute walk to the St. George Bridge, depending on your pace. The room is for 2, it has the usual amenities, TV, free wifi, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, minibar. There is no iron or ironing board. The hotel has a restaurant, breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. There is a small bar at the lobby. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is some construction going on at one end of the hotel, but we did not hear any of it in our room. In the future, I plan to return to Prague and stay at Park Inn Hotel.

Booked a 3 night package through Jet 2, mainly because of the reviews / ratings.
We requested a high floor in a quiet area mainly because I am a light sleeper.
When we arrived we were allocated room 230, the receptionist after we had handed in our passports realised this and fair play to her moved and allocated us room 548 on the fifth floor which we were happy with, well initially anyway.
The room itself was great, clean, the bed was comfortable and it was positioned in a quiet area away from the noise of the streets and trams many of the reviews commented on.
Unfortunately we soon discovered, we were absolutely not in a quiet area of the hotel as the the gym was directly above our room (548) so any chance of an afternoon snooze after a day out walking or a late awakening on a morning was soon dashed, the relentlessness of the treadmill, the dropping of the weights were constant from 0700-1900 and sometimes beyond, in addition you could hear people continually walking on around corridors gone midnight so the peace and quiet we so desperately needed was not achieved at all!
wanted wasn’t achieved at all throughout the duration of our stay!
The hotel itself is modern and was fully renovated a few years ago, breakfast is ok with plenty to choose from, though the seating area is limited depending on what time you go for breakfast where you could find yourself waiting 15-20 minutes for a seat. The bar area is small but breaks out into a foyer / seating area just off reception.
The hotel is spotlessly clean in a decent location and about 25 - 35 minutes walk into the main sight seeing areas, the staff were pleasant and helpful. But we wouldn’t return and therefore couldn’t recommend the hotel,
If you have booked or are looking to book, I recommend you request a room away from the gymnasium because the noise spoilt what was a very enjoyable break away and the “only” reason we rated our stay a 3 rating!

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. We understand the importance of a quiet room, especially for light sleepers. We apologize for the oversight in initially assigning you a room that didn't meet your request. We're glad to hear that the receptionist promptly addressed the issue and moved you to a more suitable room on the fifth floor. However, we apologize for the unexpected noise coming from the gymnasium above your room. We understand how disruptive it must have been and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your positive comments about the cleanliness of the hotel, its modern design, and the helpfulness of our staff. We take pride in providing a pleasant and clean environment for our guests and offering a satisfactory level of service. Once again, we apologize for the issues you faced during your stay. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to make improvements for the future. We hope you will give us another chance to provide you with a more enjoyable experience in the future. Best regards, Susana, Guest Relations

I use this hotel very frequently for my business trip stay. The rooms are always clean and quiet, the air conditioning is also quiet, great breakfast (I especially enjoyed the Caesar salad), the beautiful lobby which directly invites you to sit there and soak up the great atmosphere of this hotel. Convenient parking in the garage and the great location of the hotel in the center as well as the attentive staff make this hotel a clear choice for my next business trips.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Prague with my wife. The Hermitage Hotel really is a fantastic place to stay. It’s in great location with a tram stop very close by it’s only short tram ride into the busier tourist areas or about a 20/30 minute walk along the river if your feeling energetic.
The hotel itself is fantastic spotless and clean throughout. We arrived at 10:30pm and checking in was easy and very quick. We had a drink in the hotel bar before going to our room which was very nice. The bar staff like all the staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful.
Our room was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated with everything you need. Big thumbs up for the shower I didn’t want to get out lol. The beds are really comfy and the room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels if required.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was very nice with a great choice and plenty of food available the pastries were delicious.
We had an late evening pick up so were able to leave our luggage at the hotel which was great as it meant we were able to spend our last day seeing more of the beautiful city.
All in all the Hermitage is a fantastic hotel and a great base for a visit to Prague. We will certainly stay there again.

From arrival, the staff was extremely accommodating - let us check in several hours early, gave us some great pointers of places to visit and were just really nice & friendly.
Every member of staff was polite, happy and nothing was too much trouble, especially Linda & reception staff.
Tram ride into old town was 10 mins, we purchased a 72 hr ticket cost £10 approx, absolutely well worth the money, saves your legs somewhat and gets you to all the points of interest easily. Defiantly saved time on the journey up to Prague Castle.
We stayed recently in the Berlin park hotel and whilst the accommodation is similar - comfortable beds, good showers etc, the staff here made the stay much more enjoyable.
We would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit Prague.

Spent 7 nights at the Park Inn and glad that I chose it. I can endorse what previous reviewers have said regarding well trained staff who are attentive and helpful, the extensive breakfast which should suit most tastes and the hotel's location and accessibility to local transport. Liked my spacious room which was quiet (solid walls) and bathroom which had a good shower. The bed was large and comfortable. Overall, the hotel is good value for money and I would definitely recommend it.
Tip. Outside Tram/Rail noise can be off-putting to some, ask for a rear/garden room.

For my first visit in Prague this hotel did not disappoint, the location of the hotel was really good, it is a fair walk to the old town (25 minutes I’d say, if your strolling)but that is not something I’d let put me off. There is a tram stop at the top of the road ( on the main road ) and if you jump on number 17 it takes you right where you want to be, and only a 5 minute walk into the Old Town Centre, the tram tickets can be purchased at the reception of the hotel.
The hotel itself inside is so so nice, so clean and modern, the reception staff were lovely from start to finish, they were so helpful on everything and were able to help us out with anything we needed, such as extending our room checkout time as we had a later flight, it was straight away accommodated for no additional cost.
We were bed and breakfast, the breakfast choice was rather good, we didn’t struggle to find something to eat.
The room was lovely, we requested a twin room with it being myself and my friend travelling, and they very happily helped us out with that, the room was very clean and couldn’t fault it.
The currency in Prague is something we couldn’t get our head round but worked out that 500kc was around £20 and went from there. It was rather cheap in places you do need to do your research on where to go as it’s not easy to just walk round and find things. The main square was the most expensive we found so we didn’t tend to eat / drink there.
But all in all, would 100% recommend to anyone.

We stayed in the Hermitage Hotel as a young couple and it was fabulous! Upon arrival Susana was so lovely and gave us a map which she used to mark everywhere we wanted to go so we could find it easily. She also told us which trams to get in order to access all areas of the city. The location is great as the rooms are soundproof (we slept right through a night of thunderstorms) and there is easy access to a frequent 5 minute tram ride to Charles Bridge. The breakfast was amazing, such a good spread to meet all preferences as well as some Czech dishes. The bar staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and modern and the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Yes, all the rooms have shower gel & shampoo in the shower. There is also liquid soap available at the bathroom.
It will cost more by getting the hotel to book a taxi than by ordering your own or even using the taxis available from the airport. Google Prague airport taxis and I'm sure you'll get the best prices and also be able to compare, and also book your return pick-up at the same time, it saves any hassle. That's what we did and it worked a treat, also note that it's crazy busy at 1600 to 1700hrs.
There are lots of local restaurants and bars very close to the hotel. Lovely food and a lot cheaper than in the old Town. We are not vegans but we had an amazing vegan meal in a restaurant called 'Pastva'. This is just across the river next to the Staropramen Brewery. I would suggest booking this restaurant. I would recommend walking along the river into the old town, about 25 mins. Lovely views and you will pass the 'dancing house'. Within ten mins walk of the hotel is the fortress and park of Vysehrad and the botanical gardens. Also, between the hotel and the Old Town you can visit a church and memorial to Operation Anthropoid from WW2. This is a free museum and very moving. I would suggest watching the film of the same name before you go. Have a lovely holiday.
