Beautifully renovated historical building from the 16th century. MOOo by the Castle is set in the exclusive quiet cobblestone neighbourhood just around the corner from the largest castle complex in the world. Spacious apartments are most suitable for high demand visitors. MOOo By The Castle offers the finest custom-made furniture combined with historical equipment & artifacts, top quality facilities, outstanding customer service, fully equipped kitchen, 4K smart TV, free Wi-Fi and over 50 original cow paintings throughout the building. Although the renovation aimed to turn the building into a modern, luxurious property, it has not lost its historical feeling. The precious wooden ceiling from the 16th century has been restored to its original state and vaulted ceilings are to be found in most of the apartments. The attached tower served as a laboratory to a well known English alchemist, Edward Kelley. There are rumors about William Shakespeare visiting Kelley in his laboratory.

We loved our recent stay at MOOo! The staff was friendly and very willing to offer recommendations on local restaurants and directions. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for our family of 6 adults. The cow details throughout the property were appreciated as well. The location near Prague Castle also added to our experience in Prague. I would not hesitate to book with MOOo again.

We could have moved in and lived at this apartment. Very modern, clean, and so close to ask the great places to visit in Prague. Staff was over the top friendly, great at recommending non tourist gems of Prague. Also a quaint little place to drink on-site. Highly recommend!

Loved the location, quiet, and close to the embassies and away from the crowds by the Charles Bridge. Felt very safe in that area. And even through I have cons listed here, I would stay here again! Next time I would just ask for the other side of the hotel with wider steps and more sunlight. Overall, a great and memorable stay! Pros: • Location! 10/15 min walk (and a scenic walk too!) to the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. • Staff was very nice, and super helpful with my questions prior to the arrival • The apartment we stayed at was very clean, had all the amenities. • Our apartment was very large and spacious Cons: • Our apartment was on the side that has the spiral staircase that were build in 1546. The steps are no joke – hard to bring your luggage up, and can be hard on the knees. • The showers are awkward. The shower head is at around chest level, so you either need to hold the hose with one hand while you shampoo, or you have to sit in the tub. • In our apt (maybe apt 8??) the step out of the bathtub/shower area is very deep. Even my friend who is 5’9 had a bit of difficulty with it, so if you are shorter, it is a bigger problem. • Because our apartment was a by the round stairs, it was on the darker side. Even with the bathroom lights on, it is still dark to put on makeup. (Yeah, I know, small details but better lighting in the bathroom would solve this). Thanks Mooo! Really enjoyed our stay! …

Fantastic find in Prague. Quiet location not far from the Castle and only 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge and the old town. Modern, stylish, clean apartment with comfortable bed and bedding. Good amenities. Friendly, welcoming, accommodating staff. Only downside for us was lack of fixed shower but overall would thoroughly recommend.
