Amazing hotel. Great location, opposite the metro stop B and C and the passage of many trams, always extremely punctual and frequent (no noise in the rooms coming from the street). The hotel is a small well maintained garden. the green aspect is always present and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. Quiet, warm, well maintained. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge. We were three (with a little girl) and had a room with three separate beds, very comfortable. Also the third bed for my daughter (14 years) was a normal bed, not an armchair bed, sofa bed, cot or anything else. Lots of space available. Bathroom not very large but new and with a nice and comfortable shower. The bidet is always missing which for us Italians is always a "flaw". In the room there is a kettle with herbal teas and a Nespresso machine with 4 capsules available, daily replenished. Breakfast is extremely varied. There is the island of hot and cold drinks, the salty part with all the typical continental preparations (bacon, eggs, pasta, etc.), the island of sweets and bread, the island of cereals, yogurt, fruit etc. and the island of products for celiacs. We had a great time and if we return to Prague, we will definitely return to this hotel. Suggestion. We had booked first with booking. then going directly to the hotel site we found cheaper options. between booking and the hotel site, we saved 60€ on a total of 4 nights.

This was our first visit to both the hotel and Prague itself, and neither disappointed. On arrival into Prague, we took Bus 119, which leaves from outside the Arrivals terminal. It will take you to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station on line A. The metro will get you to the City Centre in approx. 20 mins (8 stops I believe to Florenc station, where you need to alight), and you can use the same ticket.
The Botanique is situated literally across the road as you come up from the Florenc metro station. You can't miss it. 🙂
On arrival, even though it was only a shade after 11am and Check In is mid-afternoon, Jan on reception was incredibly friendly, helpful and told us we'd be able to get into our room in approximately 30 minutes. He checked us in and then gave us a voucher for two free drinks in the hotel bar, while we waited. Possibly the earliest beer I've had in my life, but it hit the spot after having already been up 8 hrs. 🙂
We were then given our room keys and unpacked. We upgraded to a Premium room, and it is well worth the extra, as we had a great view from our balcony on the 8th floor. The hotel team had also left a little surprise for us in the room, as they knew it was a special anniversary for us, while we were in Prague, which was another nice touch by them, which we greatly appreciated.
The room was very spacious, everything felt brand new, and the bathroom was excellent, with a great and sensible layout. The hotel communal areas are also excellent, and the bar area is a really nice space. Lit well, and free flowing through into the dining area, so there's a real feeling of space there.
Breakfast was also good, with plenty of choice, including all the elements that make up a full English, for those that want that. There was also a large selection of breads, cakes, fruit and other hot dishes, including a pancake maker.
For those that want to make themselves a cup of tea in the morning before going down to breakfast, there's a Billa Supermarket right across the road, and an Albert one 100 yards down the road to your left, so you can pick up milk and anything else you want from either.
I'll not dwell on every detail of our stay but suffice to say, we loved Prague and will definitely be returning in a warmer month in 2024 and there is only one place we'd be looking forward to returning to stay in. From the start to the end of our stay, everyone we dealt with on the front desk, bar, breakfast and in housekeeping were super helpful, friendly and efficient. Everybody has a great smile on at all times and genuinely want to help you out, however they can.
A special mention to Tomas Bodlak who we had been in discussion with prior to our stay who recommended the upgrade to the room (it isn't much 🙂), which was a great shout and was super communicative throughout our stay, to ensure everything was as it should be.
In summary, a fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel in a very interesting and historical city, which we will most definitely return to. Thanks to all the team at the Botanique who contributed to this thoroughly enjoyable stay and we'll be sure to return in 2024 to further explore the great city of Prague and enjoy the excellent hospitality of the Botanique team.

I don't think I can find enough superlatives about this hotel. The moment we arrived we both commented on how amazing the hotel smelt not only in the reception area but throughout the hotel. The member of staff who checked us in was very friendly, polite and professional, check in was a breeze. The rooms are bright and modern with lovely smelling products, you could phone reception and request slippers and robes, we didn't do this but we thought it was a nice touch. The bathroom was a good size with a really powerful shower. We hardly heard any noise from other guests or outside noise despite being in a fairly busy area. The hotel has a bus stop right outside, just across the road was a tram stop and underground station. There is also a supermarket across the road and some shops nearby. Only half an hour in a taxi from the airport, 20-25 minute walk to the old town square or a couple of minutes on the underground. The bar area was a lovely place to come and relax after a day of exploring. We had breakfast included in our stay, they had traditional continental breakfast and hot breakfast options, this was a buffet style so you could help yourself to whatever you wanted. The day of my partner's birthday we arrived back to our room to a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely surprise. If you're looking for a modern clean hotel with friendly staff in a great location then this place would be ideal, we would definitely stay again next time we come to Prague.

Our flight was delayed and we phoned the hotel to say we would be later than midnight and they were very nice and understanding. The room was well appointed and and clean and we had a balcony. There was plenty of plug sockets and the shower worked well. The bed was comfy and there was no noise, as the hotel is slightly off of the main attractions. It is however a good location as it’s across from the tram and metro and beside the main bus terminal. We enjoyed the breakfast and there was a good selection of fruits and breads and a hot buffet. The staff were very efficient at taking away empty plates and topping up food. We got omelettes made and they were lovely. There is also free use of washing machine and tumble and we did a few loads, as it was really hot weather. What a great asset! The reception staff took us down to the basement for the washer and they were so polite and happy to help. We were a bit mixed up about the cleaner times for doing the room, but we asked for fresh towels and always got them if the room wasn’t done. There was plenty of organic shower gel and the body lotion was lovely. All in all the hotel Botanique is a very well run place and great value for money and a good location for exploring the beautiful city of Prague.

The hotel was immaculate. First impressions were fantastic. The foyer is lovely, full of plants. The staff were professional, dressed lovely and smart and so so helpful. The lifts were quick and always working. The room overlooked the very convenient metro opposite, so be careful opening the curtains if you’re naked as it can get very busy on the platform😊. The beds were comfortable, bedding crisp and gleaming white. The showers were powerful roomy and hot. The free products for you use in the bathroom that you can buy in the foyer are lush, we particularly loved the smell of the air freshener spray In the corridors, it smells decadent. The hotel is an eco one, so everything is sustainable and no plastic. There’s an espresso in the room and a kettle and little draw with everything you need, I bought milk and tea bags from Billas so I could make my own. The cleaning staff left our room immaculate throughout the stay, we were on floor 6 and she couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful (thank you xx was so nice not to have to do anything for 5 days, I did not want to go home 😊). The breakfasts were outstanding, anything you could think of was on offer and I even had my own gluten free table of goodies, but all allergens are listed on each item, in Prague gluten is a 1 so on the menu’s it will show numbers and 1 is gluten. This made it so easy to choose my cooked breakfast or continental or both. You can help yourself. The waiting staff in the mornings are very efficient, as soon as your plate is empty they are clearing up. They work so hard to make everything run smoothly, the Hotel Botanique should be so proud of their staff as they were impeccable in everything they did. We ate in the restaurant once and again it was faultless, I had the pork and it melted in the mouth, hubby had the burger and he didn’t want to finish it. The bar staff were great, one of the best cocktails I’ve tasted and prices are good for a Hotel. Any questions or queries we had the desk staff were knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and couldn’t do enough to help. We chose a late check out for 6pm as were flying home at 8pm and this was well worth the 50 odd euros extra. The hotel is exactly a 23 minute walk to the main square, or if you prefer a quieter walk, it’s really lovely to go behind the hotel cross two roads and walk to the old town along the river bank, no traffic to dodge. A convenience store is 2 doors away. And on the next road over a very good Chinese restaurant. Also McDonald’s is across the road next to the metro that does loads of gluten free burgers with a gf bun.
We will return and we’ll happily rebook the hotel Botanique. We really couldn’t fault our stay at all. Thank you for making my 50th birthday special

We arrived at this hotel just before our check-in time, and we were allocated a room instantly. Our room was clean and spacious, and everything worked. Lovely warm shower, really warm room and lovely comfortable bed and pillows. As others have mentioned in other reviews, it is in a good location within easy reach of most attractions, and we walked, under the underpass just outside the hotel, to the palladium within around 10 minutes. All staff we encountered were very polite, professional, and helpful when required. Breakfast was really nice, and food was replenished more or less straight away. We had two evening lunches over the weekend, and both were delicious. We would highly recommend dining here and full complements to the chef. If you are thinking of staying in Prague, I would recommend staying here as we enjoyed our visit very much. Tip - from the airport, we caught the Regio bus, pre-book only, for about £8 for two, and a taxi costs around £18 each way. Enjoy!

The Botanique hotel is a modern and elegant hotel located 15 minutes walk from the center of Prague. The location was very strategic for us: we arrived in Prague by car and therefore we needed a hotel that was outside the center (and its restricted traffic zone) but not too far from the centre. The hotel offers a convenient parking service in its garage. Just outside the hall there is a tram stop that goes towards the center or the Florenc metro stop, which was very convenient for us. There are also several supermarkets and shops open until late. The hotel rooms are modern, the bathroom with a huge and very hot shower. We stayed in a King Deluxe with terrace and so we were on the top floor: the view is beautiful but you can't see any famous monuments. Breakfast is very crowded but we never had any problems finding a seat or finding food. Perhaps richer on the savory side than on the sweet side (the defrosted croissants were not exactly appetising). Overall though I would recommend it.

In our opinion, everything is perfect in this hotel. A four-star hotel at a reasonable price. The room (809) is spacious with a fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, desk, two armchairs and a small table. Everything is very clean. The reception staff are extremely accommodating. Dogs are allowed, including in the restaurant and at breakfast (we left our Westie in the room, which was no problem). The breakfast is very extensive with a large selection of hot dishes (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, baked beans, vegetarian alternative, sausages, bacon, freshly made pancakes). There is also sparkling wine on Sundays. And all of this at an absolutely reasonable price. The underground car park is extremely secure (can only be entered with hotel staff), and access is also taken care of, as it takes a bit of getting used to with a lift for the car. We can definitely recommend the sustainable Hotel Botanique to anyone visiting Prague for a city trip (maximum 10 minutes' walk from the city center). A short review of the restaurant/bistro will be provided separately.

Very good geographical location for this beautiful hotel in the Karlin district. Convenient tram and metro stops right outside the hotel. The icing on the cake, even a bus stop nearby to go up to the Zizkov district.
The check-in in advance and on site was quite pleasant and quick. However. during check-out, no one asked me how my stay went, I find it a shame because the customer's feedback is important at that time.
More generally, I found that the reception staff were friendly, but not necessarily very warm. I myself greeted the people at reception on several occasions when leaving, because they did not do it themselves when looking at me, again a shame because that is part of good customer service.
The lobby/bar/breakfast room are nicely decorated, in the theme of the hotel, very natural. Well imagined, we find the very pleasant nature side even in the access card to the room and the elevators - by the way there is little waiting for the latter - very pleasant.
My room - the ideal size - was uncluttered, while remaining both modern and sufficiently comfortable in terms of equipment. Very good quality bedding, delighted, precisely one of the main elements which made me choose this hotel. Always for a good sleep, thick curtains which perfectly obscure the room, great. Brand new bathroom with rain shower, again very good for comfort.
On the other hand, a 49-inch TV screen without 'real' French channels and without any streaming operator is not ideal. In 2024, in a luxury hotel, for me this is clearly a lack. Even though there is the possibility of broadcasting your smartphone to the TV, unfortunately not all smartphones offer this function.
I also validate the breakfast which is really particularly complete. I have rarely had the opportunity to enjoy such a varied lunch. I will remember for lunch in particular the tea in leaves and not in bags, as well as the machine to make your own pancakes. Just problematic for me were the metal services (knife/fork) which were a little heavy in the hand and especially the knives which were not really suitable/sharp for cutting fruit for example.
The cocktail bar (also good and sold at a reasonable price) open from morning to evening is also a real plus :-)
For enthusiasts, a beautiful modern fitness room in the basement. Top equipment, I have rarely trained on such a modern treadmill in a hotel, really well done!
Overall, a very good experience in an establishment that I happily recommend.
Good to know, the best rate is only available on the hotel website, with free lunch, which is definitely worth it.

We stayed in a Superior King room. It was spacious and the layout is sensible, for example, there is space to stow two people's luggage (so you're not constantly tripping over bags).
The Hotel Botanique is very clean. You can tell they do a proper clean as there was not even a speck of dust on the mirror frame, and even the wardrobe shelves had been wiped. (Trust me, we checked). The bathroom was spotless. The hotel was refurbished some time last year or so (my partner visited in April) and even more than a year later it does not show any wear and tear.
Do yourself a favour, and stay at the Hotel Botanique - if for no other reason than to experience the shower. I live in London and would die to have such water pressure! It's a walk-in shower with your choice of shower head (waterfall or standard), and of spray type. Rest assured, it does not leak, so you won't flood the whole bathroom floor. This shower is just what you need after a long day sight-seeing in Prague!!
We chose the option with breakfast included, and it is great value for money. The buffet breakfast offers a wide range of hot and cold foods, and there are multiple gluten-free options, should you need it. The food was tasty, the bread fresh, and the coffee good. (I can also recommend the house cocktail, to close the day.)
The hotel is also very conveniently located - just across the road from a metro stop and a large bus station. It made it easy to go on day trips.

Body & Shampoo (in one) bottle, hair conditioner, hand liquid soap' shower cap, towels (nice' large and med), toilet paper, magnifying mirror, water glasses.
Haven't used the room service but given the holistic experience I am sure there'll be room service... maybe ask them directly.
We pre booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport to the hotel through easyJet when we booked our holiday.
If you email hotel directly they will give you a price to arrange a taxi pick up for you.
We have in the past used a very good company called ‘Shuttle Direct’ for airport transfers abroad.
Uber taxi service is usually cheaper but have not personally used in Prague. Enjoy your stay!
There are more places to choose from in the Prague area.
