Love the location inbetween old and new Prague on a cobblestone pedestrian street. If you have large luggage, I suggest wheels so it is easier to reach the hotel where the airport taxi drops you off a short distance. Inviting lobby offers free loan on umbrellas in case of rain & storage for your luggage is behind a curtain. Breakfast...

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, last week; the room was super crean, the hotel in general was super clean and warm, the room had a great size, but as it was in the first floor the second night I could not sleep at all, due to the accordionist who played for more than 3 consecutive hours and...

Nice hotel, very central and may be a bit noisy at night (we had someone playing accordion under our window the first night but managed to change the room). Breakfast not superb but above average. Easy to reach by metro.

We just stayed here for 4 nights and for the price we paid, the hotel was pretty much faultless. The hotel has a 'Baroque' theme to it and is tastefully and uniquely decorated throughout. I am aware some rooms are small and 'oddly shaped' according to some other reviews but ours was very large which shows there is a mixture...

Visited in Feb 2017 with my partner after finding a great deal on Trip Advisor for a long weekend stay. We stayed for three nights and honestly can't think of any real negatives for the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view wasn't thrilling (directly into some offices opposite) but you...

Couldn't hope for better location for our 4 day trip in Prague! Almost every most known tourist spots and major shopping areas are within walking distance. Super friendly staff and the breakfast had a good selection of choices.

Excellent hotel. Loved everything about it. Great location for all the tourist spots. We walked everywhere from here. Our room was a normal room but fab, great bed, plenty of wardrobe space, the shower was FAB. Our room was immaculate and cleaned daily. We had breakfast included and it was superb. Great selections of fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, cereals, juices...

My boyfriend took me here for my 21st birthday and I cannot praise it more. The breakfast is amazing with a great selection. We were given a king room and we're completely delighted with it. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The location is unbeatable just steps away from the main sights of Prague All the staff...

As the name suggests, a sense of fun pervades Hotel Friday. The decorators had a penchant for bright orange furniture and kooky paintings, but the overall effect is surprisingly stylish. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Who doesn't like cheesecake for breakfast? The location is slightly odd, just off a main shopping street, but very central and quiet at night. And...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
